I was thinking the same! I would rather see Chloe back with pierce tbh😭 and I’m going to guess that the last scene will be an aerial shot of the street with Susan narrating some kind of bullshit (that will make me cry) about how good neighbours are good friends 😭🤣😩
 
Literally just found this thread tonight...I wish I had found it earlier 💞. I started watching Neighbours when my eldest daughter was in my tummy 36 years ago 💞. On and off we have both watched it over the years...albeit at different times... but we both love it ❤ We are watching every day now to keep up with the storylines because we are attending a Farewell Neighbours party next Friday. We will all be in tears 😭😭

And how great is it to see some of the oldies back 💞 .. Especially Izzy, she was one of my favourites in times gone by 💞

Another one who hasn't watched for a few years - but first started back in about 88. I got hooked when my daughter was a baby. So comforting, and at the same time exotic.
Watching recently has made me feel so sad it is all ending.
Nice to see lots of old faces. Looking forward to Guy Pearce.

Yes I only came back to Neighbours last yr after 25 yrs not watching so not seen Andrew since he was a baby (obviously played by someone else). I am pleased you have said that because I thought he was very unnatural sounding. I know acting over zoom isn't the same as face to face but definitely sounded a bit off. I would like to know if when he was in it previously what he was like .. Like when Lucy comes back to square things up she is like her Auntie Rosemary before her! She is her brother's sister at times when she just drops a word in to someone's ear and stands back. She then acts all innocent! Whatever happened to Rosemary and Hilary?

I see Rebekah E was saying she would work on any of the British soaps if asked, so will have to see. I know Emmerdale has a history of casting Australian actresses. They cast Anne (Madge) and Emily (Marilyn) from H&A. Also Paul talking about his love life not as Paul but himself.. Not sure what he is trying to prove, he is married and has children who are grown up and can hear all he is spouting not very cool in my book.

I hope Chloe doesn't end up with Elly, I despise Elly and Chloe can do so much better. I do think they'll put 'chelly' back together, because so many fans love them together.

I haven't watched Home and Away for years but could be tempted for my fix of Australia if Sophie Simpson returned :love: When she was on there in her teens and early twenties this pre teen and teenage boy was a fan hahaha.

Don't know if she is definitely doing it or she is just putting it out there that she would be willing to relocate. Maybe some people think that having a son who I don't think is fully grown yet she wouldn't be. She and her family have obviously thought about it though and thought it's possible.

Yes think as well as the British soaps she has said she wouldn't rule out Home and Away again. I really hope she does get something have enjoyed watching her play the role of Terese. I did used to watch H&A with her in it too, but all I can remember about that was she was a young mum and had a daughter called Tamara. (Think I have remembered the name correctly as didn't look it up!)

Her dad in Home and Away was Doug Willis aka Terrence Donovan playing a bad father. What memories :D I would think Home and Away would be more likely than moving to England with her husband and kid.

I don't think the show should ever come back. These last few weeks have been weird enough with so many characters leaving or getting ready to leave in such a short space of time. I wouldn't want it to come back in a year or two and hear poor reasons as to why the entire street is different again because if the show came back Izzy, Malcolm, Scott n Charlene etc won't be around.
