Is the final episode Toadie and Mels wedding then?

Where are all the Robinson kids that are supposed to be returning?
 
I really hope they go back to the original theme song, they've done a shortened version the last few years but it's not the same

I've just googled it and everything I can find says she was born in 2007 so she should be 15. Not sure why they have aged her like that. Although I'm not sure how old it was suggested she was when she last appeared. Definitely a teenager but maybe they did some aging up then too.
 
I guess they need her to be more adult than teenager for the current storyline.

I can see where they are going for the finale now and it all seems so real.

I know!! I actually had to rewind it several times and Karl clearly tells Susan that holly is 19!🤣 wtf! I thought I was going mad as I too recall the child being born during one of the London special episodes in 2007!
 
Kids often get aged up in tv shows when they’re an off camera character that gets mentioned now and then or makes a comeback. I’m pretty sure piper started out being the older kid when the Willis family came back but was rewritten and then introduced as someone younger. I think Libby’s kid Ben changed age when they needed him too. Some of it is just lazy writing and bad continuity especially when there’s fansites that have that info.

My guess for not having the opening credits anymore is there are so many new/old characters coming back in to it that they are really going to be pointless over the final couple of weeks. A good percentage of the cast will not be in them at any one time. Therefore easier to just list everyone at the end. I do like the opening credits, though. I have only just thought of this lately, but the Australian soaps have words to their theme tunes, and our British ones don't. EastEnders did do words at one point, but they are not widely used. I know it's obvious but it only recently occurred to me!
Just like when I watched Neighbour's 25 yrs ago I never noticed Paul's house was the only one with stairs in Ramsey Street. I was only young though then and probably not looking at interior designs like I am in middle age though!
I loved the nod to Paul and Shane's great grandad's in yesterday's episode. I really wish I hadn't stopped watching Neighbours for 25yrs, the last few weeks finding out bits about what I have missed. I watched a lot of soaps in those days though and when I started work something had to give and it was the Aussie soaps..

This is particularly ridiculous as Izzy only arrived on Ramsey street 19 years ago in 2003 and I’m pretty sure she didn’t start anything with Karl for a while… she was also in a long term relationship with Paul 🤣

Yes it does often happen in soaps sometimes as you say laziness in not back checking and sometimes because they have an older storyline in mind for the character and don't want to wait.

I saw someone on fb say it might be so they can have an extra 30 secs on each episode. I’ve seen soaps do that before. Home and Away dropped theirs years ago. I just hope they add it in the final episode!

I thought she was in Hong Kong with Libby, but I'm not sure if I've imagined Libby being in Hong Kong.
