Off the back of the Naomi Cambell chat on the Diddy thread
Thank you. I wanted to create one but didn’t know howOff the back of the Naomi Cambell chat on the Diddy thread
Aren't these 'talent/model' agencies just cover for porta potty/yacht girl trafficking arrangements?Interested in seeing if this will be a new escort business.
Naomi Campbell sets up new business in Dubai with Pretty Little Thing founder
Naomi Campbell has teamed up with Umar Kamani, the CEO of Pretty Little Thing, to launch a talent and partnership agency that will open this month and will be based in Dubaiwww.mirror.co.uk
yes it seems they are mostly a way to filter the dirty money associated with it as wellAren't these 'talent/model' agencies just cover for porta potty/yacht girl trafficking arrangements?
In the documentary about Gerald Marie, Scouting for Girls (I think it has a couple of titles depending on where it was released), one of the models outlines how the girls are told about all these opportunities if they go to Italy or Dubai or wherever, and then once there, they are introduced to these dodgy blokes at parties and sent on 'auditions', but she realised with hindsight it's just sex trafficking - there is no real acting or modelling work, and the girls are passed around, getting presents and cash, but don't realise that's really why they were sent there.
You forgot money laundering.https://www.12ft.io/https://www.12f...ls-fashion-charity-investigated-over-finances
"Campbell created Fashion for Relief in 2005 to raise funds for children living in poverty and adversity around the world, and says it has raised millions over the years for good causes through its annual charity fashion show. The Charity Commission is to examine whether Campbell and her fellow trustees “have properly exercised their legal duties and responsibilities under charity law”, and will investigate payments made by the charity to one of its trustees. It will also look at the charity’s spending and the management of Fashion for Relief by its trustees, including potential misconduct and mismanagement and the failure to file statutory annual accounts on time."
"The charity’s last set of published accounts show that in the year to July 2019 it raised £1,722,000, most of it through sponsorships. According to the accounts, £1,606,000 of that was spent putting on a charity event and paying for PRs and other staff. Just £5,515 appears to have been given to good causes."
So basically it was a tax write off and gave a charity pocket change.
I wonder if it is because Naomi has tea on them and they are scared of her? Kind of like how everyone used to stick by and praise Diddy because he had the means to damage their reputation. Not sure why the other supermodels (like Kate, Helena) still sing her praises as they seem nice enough.
She's always wishing Happy Birthday to other famous people on her IG. She strikes me as one of those people who can be very lovely to people she views as importantI wonder if it is because Naomi has tea on them and they are scared of her?
