Yeah I agree with that. They kept saying follow the evidence but there was hardly any! Then the prosecutor said they had a thin layer of evidence so it could go to court.
I’m glad they won as they were nice but it was an anti climax overall and could have been such a good show.
I really think you are right. There was a moment early on where the detectives were talking about all of the suspects and when one of them mentioned how sonya always talked over/for tony and how that would raise suspicion in the real world I honestly thought there was going to be a curve ball last minute and it end up being someone who wasn’t a top suspect.
I wish there was a way the contestants could do an AMA as I wonder how much of it is heavy editing. For example Logan was only ruled out of the murder at the last minute because his laptop showed he was looking at porn at the time of the murder! Surely evidence like that could have been gathered very early on to rule people out? Internet history, cctv, phone logs etc if you knew you had an alibi you would willingly offer it up if it was going to clear your name. But that wasn’t even considered until they had a few hours of holding time left.
Credit to the camera man though who during the search of Logan’s room zoomed in on the scrunched up tissues on the floor as the chief detective said “this looks like a teenage boy’s bedroom” I’m sure he meant the posters and general mess but that made me chuckle.
