Not really but i feel invested in it now!
It’s a bit weird though because they had their first eliminationand then the voice over was keen to emphasise that unless anyone gets any evidence rather than speculation someone else will be sent home. It’s almost like they are suddenly wrapping the show up and getting it all done with.Dot and Rox
It’s so hard to get actual evidence though. The guys got close as during an interview Tony agreed to hand over his mobile so they could check text history between him and charlie but he legged it . They didn’t notice he was gone until the senior detective pointed it out and then they managed to catch him in the act of hiding a brick of cocaine. They then interviewed him about the cocaine but he was lawyered up an “no commenting” but the guys got criticised for giving up too early.
The teams had to present their boards and evidence to the chief lady and as usual gobby of the two old ladies was giving it all the overegging and wouldn’t shut up. At the end the older lady said one sentence which may be critical to the case that nobody else had discovered and that basically saved them! She is so under appreciated by the horrible bossy one of the two.
Things discovered:
Logan (the young lad) told the old ladies that after the pub meeting about selling land that he went straight home at 9-9:30 but his mum (the photographer woman who was driving past charlies house when alicia flagged her down after finding the body) went to hamish’s house to check on him before coming home later that night. Contradicts her story but the detectives (only the old ladies know) need to clarify the story somehow to see if it is a clue.
Freddy has an extensive criminal record involving drugs, assault and murder; although he was cleared in court. Tony has a criminal past involving assault and class b and c drug dealing. Other suspects had no records.
Tony was found hiding a brick of cocaine. He said nothing when questioned so they interviewed his wife. She said that a boy in her class had found it on the beach (before the murder) and handed it to her. She was going to hand it to the police but forgot with the death drama going on. They checked off screen with the parents of the kid who verified that story but a flashback scene showed that that was all a lie. Tony had told sonya that he was going to try selling but she was very against it but she kept to the cover story for him. I was a bit surprised because that means the family of the boy who found it were in on the lie too?
I'm still watching just cause I need to know who the murderer was, it's a shame because I think this show could have been so much better but its all a bit flat the contestants spoil it for me they haven't got a clue. I wonder if maybe they used criminology students instead of Joe public at least they would have some idea how to solve the murder.
I thought this was off when I heard it too!Alissa, for the sheer fact she said "Ive found a body, I think shes dead"
Wouldnt you say someone unconscious rather than body? Body to me implys you know they're dead.
Yes I liked it! Acting was super cringe and cheesy though and the murderer was usually the one that looked most sinisterDid anyone used to watch an odd little programme presented by Susan Calman a couple of years ago called Armchair Detectives? It was on in the afternoons.
Strangely addictive.
I really wanted to love this series and it started well but last nights episode bored me. I don't know if I'll bother next week. Will just check on here for the highlights.
I missed most of it tonight. Did they find out who the father of her baby was?
