Murder island

The premise of the whole thing is right up my street but I’m not sure I can get past how cringe it is 😬

Its very cringe but Im kinda sucked in now because I need to know who killed her. 😂

I love a good murder mystery, but this isn't really grabbing me so far. Not sure if any of the amateur detectives are up to much. Anyone know how many episodes?

Six episodes apprently. Hoping them girls go tonight, theyre useless!

I was really looking forward to this I did enjoy it apart from the contestants it's like they have never seen a police drama before they were fairly useless

Completely agree. Wish it was done with just professional dectectives who show how its done ect.

Although my money is on that Alissa, for the sheer fact she said "Ive found a body, I think shes dead"
Wouldnt you say someone unconscious rather than body? Body to me implys you know they're dead.

I quite enjoyed it, but I am not sure we learnt much about how detectives solve a real murder. I quite liked the idea of the corpse as the narrator. I like Ian Rankin. I read an interview with him in the Radio Times where he said he decides who the murderer is half way through writing a book which sounds odd. My money is on Alissa as well. I think all the stuff about the eco development will be a red herring.

Charly's pregnancy was so predictable. I think the father is Tony (pub landlord) and he probably murdered her as well.

It was a bit of a low start. My only criticism is C4 haven't put the entire series on All4 for people to binge; I really hoped to be able to sit down and watch all the episodes.

I think the father is the lad who was holding back when his mum was interviewed

I thought he was shifty.

I got really into this, I just hope they send the ditzy pub girls home soon as they are ruining it for me. I would love the chance to do something like this and it frustrates me seeing people like that who haven’t a clue.

I will need to rewatch again with a notepad i think! I get confused with names and the timeline.

I’m not sure what to make of the pregnancy. 6-8 weeks and she only returned to the island 6 weeks ago meaning it could be an islanders baby, or someone from the outside world. If it was an islander then it was probably a ONS or assault if she hadn’t been to the island in over 5 years. Also intrigued what she was hinting at to the woman at the petrol station about something happening in Glasgow, then finding that rich bloke being from there.

I did feel for the contestants though when they told them they should have looked inside her hot water bottle at the crime scene and they will have found her diary! Especially after they were warned about touching and contaminating the crime scene.

He was shifty. I felt like they should have asked him to leave while they questioned his mum.

Maybe the pregnancy is to do with what happened in Glasgow? Which could mean the pub owner is involved? That Sonia seemed shifty.

Them two girls need to go. Theyre ruining the show for me too. Their hair wasn't in their hoods in the crime scene, one of them touched the bloody fingerprints on the wall. They are just not taking it seriously enough.
The older women seem a little annoying too, picking up the wine glasses when there was a yellow sticker by them.
Im assuming the water bottle didn't have an evidence sticker so would have been free to pick up like the photo album?

I might have to rewatch too 😂

Those girls remind me of AbLisa from X Factor years ago. (Google for a refresher!)

thats who they are!!

The whole programme was giving me X factor vibes, it’s a bit “so you think you can solve?” 😂 I’m finding it hilarious although not sure that’s what the makers intended.

HAMish?

Is anyone watching tonight? I wonder if it will be like the bbc show 'the murder game' anyone remember that?

I remember watching the murder game in my room and wishing one day i could go on the show.

Although I always watched the end bit through my fingers as i was terrified by the final scenes with the killer 😂 maybe I wouldn’t have done well on that show! Think I was about 14 at the time though so maybe i could cope with it now.
