Mumsnet #51 I can guess what dress size you are from your comments alone

This won't be up long so I'm sharing it here so you can all see it. Also please list what car you had at 19 so I know if I owe you any respect.

My friend and I decided to watch the Manchester Derby at my house, but instead of paying for the game, he brought over his jailbroken Firestick to stream it. I tried to avoid using it, suggesting we just pay for the match, and I even offered to cover the cost completely, but he refused. As the night went on, I started to worry because if the police showed up, I’d be held responsible since the illegal stream was at my house, even though the idea and device were his. I had seen news about police conducting home visits over jailbroken Firesticks, but he brushed it off as exaggerated. Still, I felt it was better to pay for the game legally, especially since the stream was at my place.

I mentioned that our area was one of the ones targeted by the police for these visits, but he jokingly suggested that if the police came, I should take the fall and claim it was my fault. They havent come yet but if they do he doesn't want to face the consequences, but I wasn’t going to cover for him. He also was getting a bit rude about it that I should take the blame which I wasn't having, I had a brand new Ford Cortina Ghia at 19 years old, I deserve to be treated better and Im not just some punching bag you could talk to like he did and throw the blame on like he did. Honestly, I thought it might be more fitting for him to deal with the consequences after dragging me into this mess, it was at my address but I kept saying loads of times that I'd just pay but he refused and wouldn't take no for an answer.

A Ghia? Meh. The GT was what she should have aimed for 😂

Snobby twit of the day. Well, one of them.

And a new 'two squares of very good dark chocolate' just dropped:
What if her DD decides she wants to be a hair dresser, or a bus driver, or a sparky, and not even want to go to university? I know that’s all far too working class for a mumsnetters willowy daughter, but they genuinely can’t comprehend that their kids might want something different out of life than to live out their mothers unfulfilled dreams.

So the good dark chocolate is out. Imagine the hand wringing.

Is the thread in AIBU with title along the lines of "to leave the mess, even if it means DM can't visit on Christmas Day" another thread by ShitHole with a different username. Her every moment is taken up talking about how messy her house is.

Writing style is a bit AI.
I wouldn’t have put Lindt in the “good quality” section either. Can’t stand the stuff.
Thought I was the only peeaon who didnt like Lindt. Was given a box by my boss for Christmas. They are still in the office as I couldnt be bothered taking them home.
