Who else loved this show?

I wish they'd continued with the UK version - it had so much potential and the casting was excellent.

Its American counterpart went on for many more seasons, until Alyssa Milano *allegedly* contributed to its cancellation by refusing to shoot in Canada when the location was switched. It went downhill after she left too. The most disappointing thing about the ending was how rushed it all was.

I found both series saved on my DVR so am going to enjoy binge-watching them next.

Wasn’t Ricky Whittle in the US version 😍? I think I need to watch the US version because I loved the UK version and agree it ended far too early, was it a ratings disaster?

There was a US version? Which character did Alyssa play? I'm guessing the widow or the Doctor? Probably Doctor as Sarah Parish was a bit more of a lead character.

I only watched the US version and loved it, agree it went downhill towards the end. Didn’t it end on a massive cliffhanger?

I never saw the UK version but loved the US version sooo much but do agree the ending could’ve been better! I forgot how much I actually loved it I think I may need to watch it again!😁

She played a lawyer who ended up having an affair with her co-worker. Never saw the uk version so I’m not sure if that happened in that or not 😂

Oh my gosh guys, you must check out the US version if you haven't seen it already! It was really good and continued on for longer so it differed from the UK version in that regard.

Alyssa Milano played a lawyer, yes ... I think she was meant to be the Irish lady equivalent ... but there were some subtleties to the US version that set it apart from the UK version. It had a LOT of eye candy ... Justin Hartley from This is Us was in it for a bit ... as well as the guy mentioned above ... the storyline of the woman whose husband faked his death was replicated but done slightly differently.

It tanked in the ratings towards the end unfortunately, despite many pleas from hard-core fans. It was cancelled around the same time as Devious Maids which is another wonderful, wonderful series. TV nowadays sucks in comparison to a few years ago.

The US version was fantastic-much more fun than the original. Devious Maids was also brilliant, that definitely could have gone for a few more series. Only good US import that is as good, and mad is the Good Fight. Everything else on tv pure tit.
