I think they've all known each other for many many weeks or months at this point. He knows her. It is probably a build up of everything she says and does. Every drama she creates. Every lie she might be telling. We think he's not involved because the show hasn't aired it, but they do interact outside of filming.

If I had to spend this much time with something I dislike then I would react in a similar way.

Agreed. Most won't be articulate after putting up with someone's tit for so long. Plus they film these scenes for 12 hours. It's very stressful.
