I don’t understand Tayah!

I get that she is desperate for a baby, but she seems desperate for Adam to love her unconditionally and in reality those two things often take time to work together.

For example, if she is that desperate for a baby, she could easily attract guys to have sex with. Yes she would be a single mother but she would get her prized baby.

For the relationship to be strong they need time together, and apart and be in their own environments. You can’t live in a small flat with no work stress and all that real life entails and expect your real life to just carry on where the show leaves off. It just isn't likely that within a year she will be pregnant and their relationship will be solid enough to cope with a baby on top of everything else they have yet to face.

It’s too early to be talking about babies. I can imagine she brings up the baby conversation, Adam nods and agrees that one day it would be nice to run around the park with a mini version of himself and to Tayah that is Adam locking in his final answer that yes he wants a baby right now. And then she wonders why he is a bit off when she is telling everyone her version of the conversation.

She comes across very competitive and a bit spiteful. It wasn’t enough for her that at the first party they were the most solid couple that this week she is keen to get in that they both want a baby now. Next week i expect she will turn up with the mortgage paperwork for their new suburban home they will move into once the show ends!
 
Tayahs Baby obsession is weird!! I feel like it’s the only reason she entered the show. To get a husband
any husband and have a baby. Adam had never had a girlfriend!!! And now he has a crazy wife who wants a baby straight away. I feel for him but I think he will break Tayahs heart and will leave her the min the show is over. They are there for different reasons

In the Aussie version, Jules made no secret of the fact she wanted a baby fairly soon but she was a lot older and very together. She also wasn't discussing babies after 2 weeks.

I wonder if it’s the influence of her mum? I’m sure her mum was quite traditional and didn’t like the idea of her daughter being on TV discussing *whispers* her sex life.

Maybe she is feeling pressured to get married (as previously mentioned, to anybody) so she can have the facade of the happy family living behind the picket fence.

I do agree that I think she would be in the same situation regardless of who she was matched with. It’s hard to know whether she genuinely likes Adam or whether she would settle for anyone who is happy to give her a baby.

I think Tayah is blinded by her desire for a baby and would square-shape-round-hole herself into any relationship to get one. Adam probably sees through this. Much as they talk about being each other's ones, I can't see them lasting long-term

Iv not commented on the threads yet as I watched the first 2 episodes and fell behind until I binged it all yesterday my thoughts on the couples are-

Megan and Bob - she is awful and he gave me the ick straight away but he is sweet (albeit a bit of a doormat), her twin brother was a right head to Bob at the wedding though especially when it’s turned out she has treated him so badly and he’s been a saint!
Frankie - bad bad vibes, something strange about him.
I feel like amy and taylah just want babies. I do wish josh would put a bit more effort in though and they look great together.
Luke and morag - hated her at first but she’s growing on me despite her laugh, I think Luke is one of the most attractive of the men but needs to be a but more confident, the fireman strip did cringe me out though.
Matt and Daniel - strongest couple imo but they are yet to have their first argument and Daniel did say that he would not move from NI so that could be an issue down the line.
I am so glad Ant is back in because he is just so bloody gorgeous 😍 I’d marry him at first sight too 😂 I hope that him and Alexis get some more airtime as we didn’t see much after they came back!
 
Can you just imagine the UPROAR and FURORE there would be if Morag was sat across from Luke saying “I’ve changed my clothes, I’m back at the gym, what else can I do?”.

he’d be fucked off the show and rightly so. Morag is punching and she’s ALL about her, what SHE likes, what turns HER on. Not so much as a second thought for what Luke might like or what might turn him on.
God she infuriates me and I’d get great pleasure in him telling her to duck right off into the sea with her wants, desires and demands.

I haven’t caught up on Monday and Tuesday yet but saw this and wanted to pop on - I think he’s a typical Leo, loud on the outside but also incredibly sensitive. Can’t see him losing his temper actually but let’s wait and see 😬

To be fair Alexis had every right to be pissed off at Jordon he was a disrespectful gaslighting twit. I think if she was crazy like nakita then we would have seen that when she came face to face with Megan but she was so mature and nice about it.
