Just catching up on last night’s episode.

Loved Paul schooling Morag on what masculinity is actually all about, as opposed to the toxic masculinity she seems to be craving.

Also, I don’t really get why Bob was quite so upset about the whole thing. I know he wants it to work but she’s been nothing but a witch to him. He should have been sprinting out the door, laughing hysterically at his lucky escape, rather than sobbing like a baby. I suspect he’s actually a pretty sensitive soul really and he uses the loud, extroverted persona to cover that up.

Glad we’re getting some drama as the first week or so was a bit tedious (the wedding episodes always are) but this season feels like MAFS Aus on steroids as it normally takes weeks for them to get to the couple swapping and big revelations!

The fact that a anorexic child was their aesthetic disgusts me.
I hope your baby is recovering well and never reaches that depth again, sorry this was your experience x

Loving this season 🥳. So glad Nikita is gone but I hope Ant gets to come back in some capacity.

Morag and her manic laugh are doing my head in. She comes across as completely unhinged.

I love Bob, he seems like a really decent guy, shaking hands with someone who tries to steal your wife is a sign of real maturity. He reminds me of the guy in the Aussie series matched with that mad one Ines. He will be snapped up in the real world

Franky gives me serious domestic abuser vibes. Has no respect for women and thinks he is a cut above.

Bronson was in on the act with the Ines and Sam drama. That's why he wasn't bothering his arse

Am really shocked by the amount of swearing from the women. When did swearing become so acceptable in their behaviour?

I wouldn't swear at anyone the way they do to each other and their partners. Is It just me, is this how people speak now?
I find it really aggressive and they frame it by saying things like- I'm just real, No One messes with me, I deserve the best etc etc

If you behave like that others will behave like that to you, I hate the lack of ability to be polite to each other!

Personally I think there are two parts to it - I would NEVER speak to my partner the way they do or swear at them, however I do get a bit riled when you have the likes of Franky saying “it’s just not attractive” - women don’t do everything to be attractive, sometimes it’s just who they are…
I agree it’s a lot, but that’s up to you surely 🤷🏻‍♀️

I agree with you about the attractive comments, you're right women shouldn't be behaving to simply comply with a man's idea of being attractive.
But like you I wouldn't swear at my partner or friends or anyone the way they do. I think for me it comes down to manners, consideration and general politeness.

I'm really curious what others think about.

I swear all the time, so does everyone I know. It’s just normal conversation to us but I would never say anything in a hurtful or aggressive way. I’m Irish though and it’s just how we talk. It’s affectionate most of the time.

Don't get me wrong, I love a swear but not at people with the volume and aggression that these women are throwing at each other.
 
Megan’s instagram really pissed me off earlier. Influencers and reality tv stars do in general. They love to throw “be kind” about and post pictures of Caroline Flack, Mike and Sophie and it’s really distasteful because they are also different situations too. They seem to think it’s some sort of comeback or deterrent to excuse their behaviour when in reality their behaviour has been anything but kind. I know we only see an edit and that’s fair enough for people to say but the edit comes from somewhere and ultimately she wasn’t nice to Bob, no one made her do that no matter how she tries to allude to it.

interesting to see her saying about being endlessly apologetic as more episodes air so that’ll be interesting to see how much longer she’s on it.

Absolutely. I was interested to see if she would find a way to "reframe" the situation and she did. Also - I feel she heavily edits those photos as she looks a lot thinner in most of them than she does on screen.
