Ok sorry for being thick but I’ve only just started watching and I’ve never seen any of the Australian ones. I’m up to episode 3 of this UK series and I have questions…

Does the series show the couples throughout the whole process or do you just see the wedding and honeymoon then they’re left to get on with it?
What’s the end goal? Obviously I know it’s to stay married but is there a time length they have to stay together, is there a prize if they do, etc? Because some of them seem determined to make it work even though their other halves are vile, yes I’m talking about Nikita.

In the Aus version, there are often themed weeks, such as 'intimacy week' - if the couples have committed the atrocity of not having boned, then one of the experts goes in and makes the couples do shit like look into the other person's eyes. Lots of the exercises are set up to be goading, like ranking the other contestants according to who they find attractive.

End goal? Fighting = ratings.
Often the couples will opt to stay in the experiment, not because they want to make the relationship work, but the longer that they stay in means more exposure.
