There's definitely something else there. He's angry about something bigger, and it sounds like he's already experienced how the real Ella and camera Ella are two completely different people.

I know a trans woman and she does the same. Groomed to high heaven ALL.THE. TIME. I think some tend to over compensate to try and look as feminine as possible - 24/7. More obvious they're not a biological woman if they don't, I suppose. I dunno *shrugs*

Ironically I guessed Ella was trans as soon as she appeared on the screen!
