He has talked a bit about an extremely abusive relationship he was in so I'd say he had experienced trauma. That's not to say others haven't. He just doesn't seem to have worked through what he has experienced in a particularly healthy way. It's clear he's still negatively affected by it.
Either that or a)he was the abusive one or b) the whole thing was invented for sympathy. Not uncommon with narcs. My ex invented a whole trauma backstory that was literally utter bollocks from start to finish.

Maybe yeah. I suppose I just tend to take people at face value which given my own personal circumstances right now, actually you'd think I'd have considered your suggestion. I hadn't though. Thanks for pointing it out.

Didn’t his own mum say on home stay that they just let him rant and rave about whatever it was he was upset about and then eventually he’d calm down? It sounds like his behaviour has been excused and not addressed for a long long time.
Yep they have enabled his behaviour for so long.

I would have respected him for doing a heartfelt apology & owning what he did instead of being a victim & then coming off SM for a few days. He won't they as he's had a taste of the freebies & doesn't want to let that go. Hopefully companies will think twice before they send him tit.

He will be pulling the biggest mental health card we have ever seen before we know it. Like how he said his outrageous behaviour on the show was down to drinking on medication and being worried about his mums health. Seems like a person who has an excuse for everything, cant take responsibility for his actions or own his tit. Hes been posting and deleting stories like nobodies business today. These people are clearly not well advised about how to condut themselves in the public eye. Although non of us have formal training on how to be a decent human but somehow manage to get through life without being a head.

Yeah that's the thing with him, he doesn't actually own it at all. He behaves badly, says he owns it and finds a reason to justify it "and now we can move on" but he keeps doing it. Sorry is a very easy word to say when you're up to your neck in excrement. But Thomas adds a further layer by then (loudly!) making himself the victim, when he was in fact the perpetrator.

Thomas needs to grow up!! His behaviour on the show was completely out of order, but he tried to wriggle out of it by blaming his medication being mixed with alcohol and his mum being in surgery. So how would he cope if something happened to one of his parents and then Whitney or April did a podcast and made jokes about it, can you imagine his response!! He needs to take responsibility for his actions and his parents need to tell him how disgusting his behaviour is, instead of allowing him to go through life, acting like a complete idiot and getting away with the havoc he creates. The scary thing is that he has worked in mental health so for him to pull that card is just as disgusting as the rest of his behaviour.

Is anyone else just completely baffled by Thomas constantly delivering contradictory statements? This was a recurring theme I noticed on the show as well.

Examples of this on MAFS:
- One dinner party, Thomas stated that whilst he disagreed with Johnathan’s opinions, he thought Johnathan was a nice man and that meant they could be friends. However, at one of the following dinner parties, Thomas tells Johnathan he can’t stand him as a result of his sexist opinions and not to duck with him - It came out of nowhere and just seemed to completely contradict everything else Tom had said in regard to Haribo.
- How he stated multiple times that he thought him and Adrian would be best friends outside of the experiment, regardless of whether or not they made it as a couple, but now apparently they don’t speak to eachother, a theory supported by how Adrian hasn’t mentioned Thomas on his Insta stories, since this latest drama has blown up, which is representative of the low level of relevancy Tom now has in Adrian’s life.
- The fact he turned on Sophie during the experiment, which created a divide between them two, in the group but he later apologised for his actions, once the show had finished and they supposedly became good friends.
- Apologising to April during the MAFS reunion, but then on MAFS: Unveiled he makes it pretty clear he will never be friendly or civil towards April, despite how she attempted to bat away his comment that they’ll never be best friends, in a playful manner.

Examples of this since his appearance on the show:
- Stating on his Insta stories that he doesn’t want to talk about any of his castmates in a derogatory manner, as he’s doing his own thing but later proceeds to use Whitney and April’s names in a derogatory manner, as a way to draw further attention to himself.
- Stating he’s coming off social media for a few days but uploads half a dozen stories afterwards, and is apparently in the comments of the podcasters on Tiktok, responding to anyone and everyone, in an aggressive manner.
- Stating he’s sorry for joking about how several of his castmates have lost parents, yet proceeds to then justify his actions by stating “everybody makes mistakes”, and how he’s “broken”, and then only apologises to Jenna, and apparently he hasn’t even made a personal apology to her.

What could these constant contradictory statements/actions, be a sign of?

Hes a volatile character and its one rule for him and another rule for everyone else.
Remember how he flew off the handle after the homestay episode was aired and Adrian had commented about how he was uncomfortable with the conversation and questions about sex with Thomas’ friends. A simple matter of opinion yet Thomas flew in to a rage and made numerous posts and stories about the whole thing blowing it up. He doesn’t like when people talk about his friends or family but he will happily joke along and make inappropriate comments about people who are bereaved in the name of dark humour.

Just like my sister. Can dish it out by the bucket load but can't take a drop of it.

And then claims her anxiety makes it really difficult for her to react in an appropriate way.

No you just don't like the taste of your own medicine. But people like that will never see it that way.

Honestly he pisses me off so much. People know what's right and what's wrong. There is a continuous pattern that keeps occuring and if he still hasn't learnt from them then he never will. People like this should not be given a platform, oh and guess what yes he tries to turn it around so that he gets the sympathy. I don't understand how people find him funny and his behaviour acceptable. When he fucks up, he owns it. So that gives him the right to do it again and again. Can you imagine if it was the other way round. Taking a break he's still bloody going on and on. Just go away.
I’m a few pages behind but his “apology” - I love a dark sense of humour, I’ve made jokes about (my own) dead relatives because sometimes that’s what gets you through, but you certainly don’t make jokes about other people’s and DEFINITELY not on a public platform? That’s not comedy it’s just hurtful.
I’m very confused by Thomas, he apologised at the reunion - was the reunion filmed after episodes had started airing so he knew the backlash he was getting? Why apology for things you’ve done to them just double down and do worse?

Why? I would have thought it was obvious. You all should have listened to Auntie B
He’s a nasty, spiteful, moody
