I do get where both Tom and Adrian are coming from but I think I'm more on Tom's side here in that if Adrian still doesn't want to, will he ever? Is it fair for Tom to continue to invest only to find Adrian never wants to have sex?

Tom really needs to think of himself as lucky that someone like Adrian has really saw the good in him and respects him. In the long run that is what will matter the most. Some people can’t just have sex with anyone and they’ve only known each other a few weeks, which has been rocky. I think Tom is really lucky to have Adrian who has supported him through all the good and bad times and really sees the potential of a long lasting relationship.
