I suspect what we would see if the cameras did catch their arguments is exactly what Heidi says happens and what he did to Jess.

I’m intrigued about why Martha said she was thankful that for couples advice she didn’t get Mike or Cam. I mean, Mike is obvious, but - and taking on board she is a cold and devious woman - what in the world could she dislike about Cam?

Are the editors being kind to him or have they had an incident I’ve missed?
I think it was because she assumed he'd judge her for aiding and abetting Jessika's deception of Mick? Also I'd say they just have nothing in common.
I dunno though, the way she said she was pleased to be paired with Dan but when he was talking she looked like she had checked out of the conversation. Maybe that's just her face, or maybe it's her reaction to too much producer involvement, because very little of the Jess and Martha and Dan fiasco rings true really. I feel she's encouraged to be Jess's cheerleader tbh: I don't get the impression she'd be that arsed if left to her own devices!

I don't think it's what Mike says but how he says it. He was spot on with his summary of Jess's behaviour and tbh honest was the only person to call her out on it eloquently. I did also notice that when she went to sit back down Jules absolutely beamed at her which I thought was odd considering what she had just put Mick and Tam through.

Heidi is another one who looks for drama. Guaranteed if he had come back from his meeting with Jess and told her they had discussed his and Heidi's relationship, Heidi would have had a mini meltdown over that too ! Sometimes I feel like Mike can't win with her and he always looks to me like he wants to speak but dare not. The relationship is doomed in my opinion! No new relationship should be that difficult 2 months in !

Yes I wonder how authentic Jess and Martha’s friendship actually is also, every time they go off to scheme or chat about their schemes its more like Jess is giving Martha a project update rather than a good natter.

Yes I saw that look Jules gave Jess, and her telling her that she thought it was acceptable that the two of them found love. She has gone down in my estimation, which is sad (for me) because she started as one of my favourites.

Mick is still my #1 favourite.

One nerdy thing I noticed I wonder how the producers decide who gets what apartment, some of them look a lot bigger than others. Compare Ning & Mark’s apartment when Ning was standing at the small living room window to Heidi & Mike’s who look like they have a massive corner apartment with all those windows and light.

Also I totally get Ning has been blowing hot & cold but Mark did say he wanted to stay so Ning decided they’d have sex and then Mark didn’t want to. It’s like he wish he’d said leave too.

Mike has a definite match out there, knows who but it’s not Heidi!
I totally resonate with him because in the past in a group setting if someone is acting the twit and needs to be told then it’s usually me! And I’ve been burned for it while everyone else slags the people off in private. How on earth Heidi thought that he and jess would speak about their relationship looking at the last communication is beyond me. I’m baffled at this series and it’s the first one I’ve watched!
Felt very uncomfortable Ning confiding in Micheal who is way too young IMO and in the wrong mindset with Martha to be having that convo. Dan makes my skin crawl. I miss Mick ☹

Ohh who is his real match?

I thought the same thing in last night’s episode - I’d never noticed how much nicer Heidi and Mike’s apartment is!

Yea I agree, there's little or no bullshit with Mick as far as I can see.
I felt again that Jules and Cam were "encouraged" to take that line that it was ok for Jess and Dan to do what they did because "love". It didn't really add up with either of their characters I thought.
I really like/liked Jules, there's something genuinely classy and elegant about her. She's not cocky but she's very obviously "above" certain behaviours etc if that makes sense - she and Cam and maybe Mark are kind of the grownups of the show for me!

I noticed that last night too! Heidi and Mike and Jules and Cam have grownup apartments with big windows and a view. The others have student gaffs, but on the plus side they all have balconies. I'm not sure whether the grownup apartments have any outdoor space?

I agree with you that Mike is a condescending arse but I wouldn't assume he's sexist. I mean maybe he is but I didn't see anything to confirm it.
I think he's quite careful not to go too far when he engages in heated debates - he has a good idea of how much he can get away with. I'd be very interested to know how his exchanges with Heidi have gone without the cameras: I get the sense that he riles her up, then comes over all reasonable and misunderstood once the cameras are rolling!

Oh Nasser was such a little twit!
I'd say his wife was no bargain either to be fair - I felt there was a lot going on behind the scenes there, a proper clash of personalities rather than the borderline abusive flex she put on it.
Omg yes she was just a bad, however when she gave that big speech and you thought she was going to leave and she said something like your not going to get away that quick... he looked secretly chuffed.. I actually liked Nasser well his bitching, always stirred the pot 😂😂😂

What a thing to share :) My gaydar is strong with that one. I am surprised he's not come out yet.

Sounds like bullshit to me. I think he just keeps making excuses rather than dealing with what the real issue is. As if people stopped him going to the toilet. You're a big boy, Matt, you can go if you want to.

Martha and Michael's date was ripped off from New Girl

Was it? Figures.

Agreed, not who they are. But they didn’t have to do it. But in the end it is a tv show and ratings are king! 😁

I could have sworn by all the faces pulled and things she said that Jules was not a Jess fan !
