oookay just watched the first episode of season 6 and thought i'd share my first impressions/train of thought so that i can laugh back at this and hopefully no one is annoyed that i'm so far behind
out of the girls, i feel like ning is a boss ass witch and absolutely gorgeous. ines seems interesting. her hobby is being in a bikini though? i am expecting drama from her and very much looking forward to it. the crazy ''high energy'' one? i want whatever she's on poor groom
out of the guys, sorry but matthew seems like the most boring person in the world and like he thinks he's better than everyone else because he doesn't drink/have sex/he was bullied. why the hell would you get married if you haven't even tried sex or being in a relationship? on the other hand, i really like nic, the cancer survivor. seems like a real fighter and a great guy.
i couldn't really match any guy to any girl just looking at them all together! interested to see how it plays out.
jules & cam: first of all, she is absolutely gorgeous. she's giving me jessica chastain and bryce dallas vibes. she also seems really kind and i can really imagine her with cam. i loved it when his dad asked if the surprise is that he has a boyfriend i don't like that there's so much focus on his (lack of) height. i feel like this might be an issue but i hope it won't. i absolutely loved that he first said hi to her mum at the ceremony and comforted her. what a nice guy!! their kiss was lovely and seemed genuine, and he looks soooo happy. the first dance scene was very cute, he's just lovely. they really have an amazing connection. i got so invested in them i had to immediately google if they are still together. also he looks like how dan from gossip girl would look like when he grows up!
cyrell & nic: not sure about this match up. but firstly, i don't understand how this whole ''telling your family'' is a big surprise when there's cameras filming them? the brother is annoying. her mum saying DON'T SWEAR IN FRONT OF THE FOOD is a mood on the wedding day, i feel like her brother just want to be in the center of attention. why would you show up to ''support her'' and then bring her down? it doesn't look to me like he's protective but he just wants to look like a big bad guy on tv. thankfully it looks like nic's family is normal and they like cyrell. i liked their vows, but compared to jules and cam, they don't seem comfortable around one another. maybe it's just him looking like an uncomfortable guy in general. is it the long neck? the rest of their evening is a big cringe fest in my opinion. ivan threatening nic and calling him nicholas was hilarious, nic could have him for breakfast. the most satisfying moment in the episode (and probably my whole month) was nic telling him that his sickness was cancer and that he deserves as much respest as cyrell does. duck yes! then the scene at the hotel, oh the cringe, cyrell is an animal
btw. i would have loved to be in charge of decoration for these weddings and done something more unusual
