Can only apologise to the long-standing mafs fam on here - watching season 9 and all its shithousery with Dom, Olivia, Selin, Carolina (where the duck do the ixperts find these people?!) and can’t keep up with the drama so reading through the threads from that season - hundreds of likes and reactions incoming for your posts from 2+ years ago 😂😭x
 
I’ve finally caught up and need to exorcise my thoughts 🤣

Sara and Tim - lovely man. She’s unbearable, he’s wasted on her. He would have been better matched with Cassandra or Tori.

Tori and Jack - he makes me gag. She’s delulu and playing the pick me, I’m such a cool independent girl and the reality is she’s very, very submissive and weak. He’s probably got a tiny winky and can’t get it up.

Cassandra and Tristan- protect her at all costs. Beautiful angel human and my favourite BY FAR. Despite her suffering she’s just the most positive person. It must be so draining for her to be with Tristan who has so much self pity. I think he might be gay… but if not, it would turn me off too that he can’t touch and kiss with confidence. He needs to get out of his own head because he’s single handedly spoiling it. Self sabotage so he can continue to be a victim. Ick! I think he has the potential to be a bit controlling too.

Lucinda and old Tim - he’s just a normal dude and while I think she has a good heart, she would drive me absolutely mad. Very theatrical and a bit phony to me. It would make me cringe big time. He just wants someone who will watch the footie with him with a pack of biccies - reminds me of my husband.

Jayden and Eden - the ex thing is weird… but I think I can give him the benefit of the doubt. It was clearly a toxic AF relationship, and it’s awful and weird what he did. But maybe with a kind, soft person, he wouldn’t go to those desperate lengths. She’s quite sweet and I don’t mind her eyebrows but her mouth bothers me. Is it loads of filler? It’s like she has strings on the side pulling it down.

Richard and Andrea - he’s a creep… she’s a darling… nothing else to say there.

Ellie and Ben - pretty girl but a complete drip. He’s just there to promote himself. Boooring

Lauren and Jonathan - I quite like her, she’s funny, but she does remind me of Lauren Harries for some reason 🤣. I think he’s blandly nice but is he gay? He should be with Ellie if not.

Have I forgotten anyone?

Final note on Collins and Natalie- WHAT was that?
I thought Collins was a total fruitcake until I watched the yahoo podcast where he seemed almost normal?!? It gave so much context to the situation and made his reactions seem understandable. I do think he was in it for the attention, and she just should not have been allowed on the show. But he’s definitely not the robot serial killer I thought he was from watching the show.

I am in complete agreement with you, but for context, the spoiler was added less than a minute after it was posted, because I second guessed myself (on the basis that it's not a show spoiler, it's gossip, but some people might not want to see it).

But I am respecting the rules and won't add gossip or spoilers in future. I get it. 🙊
 
Hello, new to the thread because I just started watching a few days ago but I've binged it all now.

What is wrong with Collins?! He's incapable of finishing a sentence or answering a simple question! He's like a malfunctioning robot! "Yeah, haha, what a day, yeah, WOW, haha, what a day!" 😵‍ Nat deserves compensation from the show for putting up with him!

Old Tim - don't like him. He's completely emotionally stunted and immature. It's quite unfair of the show to have him on and inflict him on any woman.
I like Lucinda, but for someone so in touch with her emotions, she lacks self awareness and has failed to see Tim's discomfort multiple times when it should be obvious.

Jack is a misogynistic prick and the producers need to step in and remove him like the UK show did with Brad and Shona. Tori talked so much at the beginning about how assertive and in control she was but she's become the opposite because of Jack. Serious abusive vibes from him.

Jayden - really liked him until the story about sleeping his gf's friend. That's such a vile way to punish someone and it's a ridiculous condition for taking someone back. I don't fully believe his version of events.

The guy who's there to promote his podcast is an immature prick.

I really like Cassandra, can't remember her husband's name but it's not going to work between them.

I like the older couple, but there's something a bit off about the guy and I can't put my finger on what it is.
