Just my opinion but I think he's neurodivergent. He clearly has difficulty connecting and making sense of his emotions and how they make him physically feel. I think he might also have a processing disorder, hence the apparent delay in some of his reactions. He has demonstrated extremely fixed/rigid thinking and I think he masks the majority of the time because he quite literally doesn't have a clue how to behave in a way that 'fits in'. He can't read people or situations.

I'm finding it extremely uncomfortable to watch and it's taking the fun out of it for me a bit. She shouldn't be there this year and he needed a better match and far, far more pastoral support than he currently appears to be being provided. The experience could be extremely damaging to both of them.

The thing is, if we can see the quite glaringly obvious issues that some of the participants have, then surely the experts should be able to. If they can’t, then they’re clearly utter arseholes, and if they can and let them on anyway then they’re even bigger arseholes.
