Collins is so irritating but I think underneath all his blustering there is a valid point. It's a huge amount of pressure to get into a relationship with someone who's suffered a bereavement so recently. Natalie and Tim should both have been told to reapply next year if they still want to do it. Grief is such a headfuck that they shouldn't be expected to make huge life decisions right now. This has the potential to really damage them and their partners.

collins didn’t have a clue how to function at the wedding reception onwards so I don’t everything should be pinned on her grief, when he literally doesn’t know how to hold a conversation with a woman and was overwhelmed by the whole situation!

Oh yeah he's a real oddball. But that's just one of the many reasons why he shouldn't have been matched with someone who's clearly vulnerable. I think he's using her grief as an excuse but has sort of accidentally stumbled on a valid point
