I feel like aftercare needs a revisit it would be really weird if she was asking him whether he’s willing to sleep in the wet patch or take a hairdryer to it. Would feel quite formal, a contact of sorts if you will She was wanting to know if he’d hold her in his arms and gaze lovingly into her eyes until she fell asleep, which was a rather silly line of questioning on her part given what she already knew. The answer is obviously no; after they’ve had sex he’d be too preoccupied with the flying pigs.

Still catching up, but in some books I’ve ‘accidently’ read, the man always goes to the bathroom after, to clean himself up before returning with a hot flannel and fresh towel to clean her up. Throw in a Kit Kat (not literally) and job’s a good’n. Tbf perhaps it was implicit that the woman would be furiously hairdrying the sheets then pretending to be asleep again while he’s out of the room .
