Not going that far, I just mean that he might open up with her and let his guard down and relax. I'm not thinking a one sided thing, just that there's an opportunity there for both of them.

Joe was initially with Kerry Bishop. Harold's daughter and mother of Skye Bishop who became a Mangel.
Kerry was a hippy and was killed at an anti duck hunting protest. He went on to adopt Skye and then marry Mel.
Please forgive me for having way too much knowledge of 1980s Neighbours, but the comparison between Joe Mangel and a mad hippy woman just brought it all out of me...

Okay, I'm all caught up and ready to join you next week on time, with snacks in hand. I think it's going to be a good one this year!

At first I thought 'over protective cousin' was being an annoying little witch for screentime, but now I see he's obviously spot on about Ben only being there to promote himself.

Lucinda is bonkers but lovely I think - Vanilla Tim is clearly terrified of her though. She'll eat him alive,

I thought Collins was annoying but Natalie takes the prize there, with her whole 'aren't I adorkable' vibe'

Top knot twit Jack seems sightly dangerous to me and I think his bride needs to run. Also, I dislike her shoulder tattoo.

I'm inclined to think the same and that the hippy stuff could be rather irksome for him, however she does appear to have a good heart and seems to be well meaning. I can't see these 2 making it for very long because he's not 'spiritual' enough for her and he probably wants a more 'average' type of woman. At least he hasn't been horrible to her so far (not intentionally anyway).

You could be right regarding him just wanting some sympathy, but I'm a very unsympathetic witch and will quickly lose patience if he keeps it up.

We've got 2 contestants so far who lost their fathers recently. If I hear about that all the way through the show my sympathy for them will quickly wear thin as well.
