This comes from someone who has been stalked and is on tattle because my email was hacked for over a week, meaning I deleted all social media and locked everything else down (and found solace in the tattle world).

Totally agree. It's like access to your private thoughts. Only an abusive partner would demand access to your phone.
 
The phone thing is an odd one because if my partner asked to look through mine he would just find a load of cat photos, but the fact he asked at all would make me upset he doesn’t trust me so I’d want to say no, and if you say no then it looks like you do have something to hide. In the past the few times I have felt the need to go through someone’s phone they always were actually cheating as well 🤷🏻‍♀️
