Now now, there's nothing wrong with a Dilf that like chatting with us girls, he gets on with the guys too.

I am intrigued by the whole 'McDonalds receipt' thing though, is he really that tight? Or is he seeing the 'Ixperiment' as a work gig, where he reclaims his expenses? Not cool Daddy, not cool

He said "you asked for the receipt" when she said that, and to be fair I can actually imagine her shouting at him about how she'll pay it coz she is an independent woman and don't need no man

ETA she prob didn't expect him to actually give the receipt 😅

So, I saw this a few weeks ago, I googled him to get his name to stalk him on Insta. It seems he got her McDonalds and then handed her the receipt along with bank details to transfer it over. That's when I stopped finding him hot
 
So I’m new to this thread although I’ve been reading and I’ve finally just caught up with the latest episode.

My thoughts:
Jackson & Olivia - get in the bin.
Mitch & Ella - he’s a bit of a sort but in a strange way. Both a bit bland but they’re harmless. For now.
Anthony & Selin - I don’t see the attraction with him. She’s a witch.
Dom & Jack - liked them to start with now find them irritating. She loves to be involved. His laugh is an ick.
Cody & Selina - Cody get in the bin. Selina, sack him off. His a racist through and through and literally slept with her to try and prove he wasn’t. No other reason. Pond weed he is.
Sam & Al - I love Al. He’s just a lovable puppy. I don’t mind Sam now she has warmed to him.
Tamara & Brent - he’s a sort but a drip. She’s a mardy cow.
Dion & whatsherface - I like him. She’s stuck up.
Daniel & Jess - I fancied him to start with but the whole niece thing was too much. Then he turned into a tomato and that was the end of that. She’s beautiful but a witch.
Matt & Kate - he’s watering a dead horse with her. That’s it.

Am I the only person not overly fussed about Dion?

He seems to be an ok bloke, nice enough, and he did make an effort to befriend people at the dinner party.....but I can't get past the "standing 10ft tall on my wallet" thing.

Is he trying to compensate for something by chucking in the money reference? I thought it was naff, not funny or endearing.

ive seen a few spoilers on TikTok from later in the series but one takeaway I have from current pace is the amount of toxic masculinity the women are displaying to the men? Selin towards Anthony with “I’m not saying you’re not acting like a man or anything…. That’s not a man …that’s not how a man behaves”, Jessica saying Daniel is acting like “a little witch” and there was someone else I can’t remember if it was Sam or Dominica saying similar things about how a “man” should behave. It’s just toxic and it does my head in. The men aren’t angels by any standard but I can’t be doing with it. If they said “that’s not how a lady would behave” there would be an outcry.

Also I can sort of understand how Jackson was a bit riled by Holly - given the situation with his mum, Holly acting like she’s been abused by Andrew was probably a bit much for him. (yes Andrew was gaslighting and a terrible husband, but they clashed and didn’t get along). That isn’t an excuse forthe way the group reacted to her though.

Total double standards I agree. We go on about how important it is for Men to show their emotions and then they say stuff like this, when they do.
Jess, Selin and Tamara being the worst.
 
Is there anywhere I can watch further episodes and catch up with the aus episodes? Laid up with covid I need something to watch and keep seeing spoilers so might as well crack on!
