I'm kind of getting annoyed with the trans lobby trying to push this narrative you must be open to dating and having sex with trans people or you are transphobic.
I am pansexual leaning towards men but I still wouldn't date a trans person because I believe it means they are a fundamentally unhappy person who's unable to accept reality. Dress how you want do away with gender stereotypes but butchering your body and using different pronouns can never alter reality , you cannot change your sex !!!

That’s called fraud. ( Although I cannot believe anyone wouldn’t suss Ella in 3 seconds flat.)
All Ella is thinking about is himself. Not a single thought for the groom he is attempting to con. I feel incredibly sorry for the groom. The producers should be bleeping ashamed of themselves.

Basis of the human race is men are attracted to women and women to men, we haven’t evolved into a species once “educated” will go, Ooooops it’s a neo vagina, oh well, not to to worry and just plough on like…….that will NEVER happen!

Well naturally men can be attracted to men and women to women lol but yeh I get your point
 
That poor groom, a reasonable number of people going into a relationship will be hoping for marriage and children. Yes heterosexual couples may have to use IVF, surrogacy or adoption if infertility problems arise but there are no other options other than egg donor surrogacy or adoption in this case.
Ella might claim to be just the same as any other girl but sex is immutable and 2 biological males cannot reproduce without outside help.

same. to make him a complete unknowing participant in this is completely unfair and instantly put him in an impossible situation - if he says he’s not comfortable then the internet calls him a transphobe, if he goes along with it then the whole experience is sort of ruined for him.

also, on a selfish level, i watch this show for pure escapism. i can already sense the threads are going to be deep discussions on gender issues while i’m guiltily here with my wine just wanting to watch trashy people be trashy 🤣

Yeah - I’m the same. A lot of people have v strong opinions and I just wanna laugh at the people who just don’t like the way their partner dresses or the awkward intimacy challenges 🤣

I do sort of agree. This thread has always been the best one on Tattle.
But at the same time, the inclusion of Ella and the ( imo absolutely disgraceful) decision not to tell the groom until after the ceremony has pushed gender issues to the forefront. It’s inevitable unfortunately.
Like you I’d rather watch a bunch of losers making idiots of themselves falling in love, but I have the horrible feeling that it’s going to be all about Ella, to the detriment of the other couples and most importantly the poor sod being defrauded.

agreed - i didn’t word it very well and i apologise, it wasn’t meant to critique the valid conversation already happening here!

like you say, the way ella has already overshadowed the show doesn’t bode well for the actual series. i know they have a history of matching polar opposites or people who want completely different things but this is just another level. i just feel for the groom that it’s being used as a gasp! i have a secret! moment when it puts him in a completely impossible situation. based on the comments in that article, he didn’t even know it was a possibility.

My favourite “I have a secret!” Moment was that fella last year who took his wife to a bleeping park bench for the home stay instead of his actual house😭
