So Picky Peggy has 5000 ish Insta followers, and is sharing pics of Heat magazine with her in it. Wonder if she was scouted as she has the Take Me Out past too. I hope we see a more natural side of her.

Nathanial has a big online presence he was also on Young Free And Single on Ch4 so he is likely not in it for love but for fame and followers.

Arthur the tennis coach and model isn’t doing much Insta promo. Lots of content of him playing tennis. Perhaps he is one of the genuine ones this season?

Anyone who goes on tv to find love is also looking for fame I don’t know why it’s such a big deal, they always do this throw in a few that have been on tv once in the past and then the unknowns. Married at first sight Australia is even worse for casting they cast mostly influencers and actors

Yes remember Inês and her blimey, he did a big tell all about how fake it is and he was scouted.

Would be awesome if someone said on the show ‘I came on the show to find love, oh and fame as well’ hehe.

It’s fake but entertaining. Ixperts would never make any of these matches.

What fame do they get really though? I have heard even Jess from the fabled Aus series has resorted to hardcore content on her Onlyfans now. Hardly winning the X Factor in it's hey day.

They can milk the fame for one year until there is a new series.

It’s a bit naive tho cuz some of them are portrayed so badly, either they show themselves up to be horrid or it’s edited that way. It is pretty scripted. Anyway, negative publicity can ensue!

I feel this is a bad judgement call. It puts people at risk and the groom has every right to be upset but will be criticised if he is.
Yea if he’s not ok with it he will be a transphobe to the general public.

Everyone says this but I’m not convinced, maybe I’m just naive but I like to think some have “the right” intentions… I know you applied for this season was that just for fame or did you not think there was a chance of meeting someone?

I only applied because I got approached by a casting scout on Instagram, i just thought duck it why not? I assume others who are approached think the same it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity

surely you can understand other people feeling like that too then lol.. if you considered it for reasons other than fame why would you be the only person to do so?

Sorry but it’s bleeping vile if the man doesn’t know he is marrying what is *technically* a biological male - especially if he is a straight man

I agree and even if it’s set up and he does actually know the bride is trans identified the viewers are given the message that you don’t need to tell people you getting into a relationship with.

I don’t think I can watch.

I think the whole keeping a secret thing is being hyped up just to get people to watch.
They get asked if they would be OK being matched with a trans person so if they tick yes they shouldn't complain if they are.

Do they actually get asked that though? The percentage of trans people in the UK is minuscule but of course they’ve just so happened to get one for the show 🙄

Are they asked that though or more questions like "what do you think of trans people" because there is a difference between having no problem with trans people and actually wanting to date/marry a trans person.
