Ok I was just doom scrolling and I’ve got to say, the story about the husband getting a standing ovation for taking the baby to a cafe was 100% manufactured and curated. They are so full of tit
The writing at the moment is terrible, it’s all Clickbait. I feel like every single article is either titled ‘Seven ways to tell if your socks are wrong’ ’ Six best shoes this season’ ‘Five signs your husband is cheating’. Or something about Gen Z, Millennials Gen X. I have never heard of anybody else spend so much time talking about the different generations. Do we really care about this stuff?

Meanwhile the depraved, sociopathic entity she is so proud to be a supporter of is burning alive and beheading real Palestinian children as we speak. But yes, let’s talk about the best way to stack our dishes shall we.
I've noticed any reporting on the war and any articles written are by AAP. I'm not sure but does this mean they are paying independent journalists to write the stories and then publishing them under the Mamamia banner? Is this because Mia won't let her journalists report on it?

Another post in the Outloud Facebook group asking about Palestine has been deleted.

The post and comments underneath were all respectful and eloquent. I don’t understand how they’re justifying that level of censorship to their social media teams.

I’d be interested to know if any MM staff have quit in recent months as conscientious objectors to the company’s editorial stance.

Did you get a screenshot of the post? I left the group a few weeks ago - couldn’t bear it any more.

I didn’t! I went back to read through and it was already gone. Lesson learnt!

And I think Elfy Scott definitely did, the timing lined up perfectly and it makes sense considering the kind of career she’s trying to carve out for herself.

I know they lost a big wig of a podcast producer- she’s not coming back after mat leave. I thought that was interesting as they seem to always been hiring for producers and she was clearly the head honcho. I think they would’ve tried to negotiate for her to stay on.

Unsure if anyone else has jumped ship recently?

They really need to ditch their “ making the world a better place for women and girls” mantra , or at least add “ except for Palestinian women and girls” . Mia’s backed herself into a corner and she’s not trying hard enough to get out of it.
They definitely need to stop using the whole “what women are talking about line.”

I’m a woman. Want to know what I’m talking about with all the other women in my life? Babies being murdered, that’s what.
