Mamamia #3

I am very confused about why Mia (and Leigha) think they're the new high priestesses of farshun. These outfits and photos don't inspire me to subscribe

Christtttt Mia is looking weathered.

LC uploading photos of her gaunt, boney, fragile sahhh skinny shoulders. My God. Seek help babes. I thought people stopped the shoulder pop in year 10?
Until a photographer takes her photo from front on where she can't hold the phone above her head, can't pop her clavicle, can't turn her face side on and looks....normal sized with hooded eyes

Some of the most unstylish people on the insta. Baggy pants, baggy, impressed shirts, weathered/altered faces that make them look 10 years older than they should be. They are the last place for fashion advice. Actually I make a conscious effort to wear exactly the opposite of what they are wearing.

I’m sorry but Mia just sounds like a horrible mother. The amount of times she justifies prioritising her career over her children because being at home with children is boring is heinous. Imagine being her child and hearing that. Jessie doesn’t sound much better and only Holly talks any sense. Mia hates stay at home Mums and thinks they must be brainless to want to do that. Glad again I cancelled my subscription.

Mia is very derogatory toward SAHM… her interview with Sally Hepworth was nauseating. I can imagine a late diagnosis of ADHD would be liberating … but let’s not pretend it was a barrier for either of them to be extraordinarily successful. Mia heads a media empire and Sally produces a book a year. Mia was banging on about how much she’d forget to pick Luca up from school and it was the most pathetic attempt to get sympathy. You’re neurodiverse Mia, and you have a duck tonne of privilege. I’m sure your kids were fine in your million dollar mansion with heaps of help.

I love Holly but does anyone else find her fascination with her daughter being a teenager a bit weird
I just think it’s her content. Daughter = teenager, son = neurodiverse.
I apologise if that sounds flippant about her son.
I don’t mean it that way.
It’s possible those details are the only surface level info she’s happy to share 🤷🏻‍♀️

I know what you mean 😊 I also think she just uses the teen thing as a talking point. I don’t think she’s obsessed with her daughter being a teenager, it’s just her life.

I’m not sure if this is the interview from a while ago but Mia loves to name drop Sally Hepworth. A lot. She refers to having dinner with her / catching up with her in Melbourne at every possible opportunity. Or in Sydney when my friend Sally Hepworth is visiting. I remember when I’d go to local readings held by Sally of her new book in our little local library…I’m sure she will be at the live show and either mentioned or brought on stage. All so ugh.

I like Sally Hepworth books but I find they're both a bit insufferable and morphing into each other. The ADHD thing, silly outfits, getting obsessed with certain trends etc

An Australian woman has been killed by an Israeli air strike while providing food aid in Gaza.

Wonder if this will garner a mention on Out Loud? Or maybe we’ll focus on ‘Little Treats’ instead.
Of course it wasn’t mentioned. Let’s talk more about Rebel Wilson. Let’s insert a little treat reference. Let’s plug a subscriber ep.
I actually have thoughts of protesting at a stupid live show with home made placards and all!
