Did anyone catch on an episode this week Mia said “my daughter’s girlfriend” - I was wondering if she was letting us know Coco was dating a female or maybe I heard it wrong and she meant her female friend. Obviously it’s not an issue if she is dating a girl, good on her. I just think it will be interesting to see how Mia spins this in her typical navel gazing way- “my daughter is gay, so I am baking myself a cake”

Mia would rainbow wash Mamamia something shocking- pronouns everywhere, she’d be saying “as an ally” all the time, there’d be a new podcast series about it, etc
Her daughter definitely has a girlfriend. I looked at her profile around the time of the Clammy Fraud stuff when Coco was liking and commenting on everything on that page I looked at the profile to see if it was actually her, and it was. I'm shocked no one ran to the outlouders group to praise Mia for being such a progressive parent lol.

Do you mind sharing what the diff is, and also, what IS an executive editor? (specifically at MM)
A sub editor does the day to day editing of actual text, spelling , grammar etc. (mamamia’s are infamously bad)
An executive editor is responsible for the overall editorial strategy of the publication- what stories they’re covering etc. No idea what they specifically do at mamamia. Seems like a luxurious title for Mia’s favourites.

TBH Germaine Greer was absolute witch to me back in the day.
They should but at MM they give these titles out to anyone. Generally speaking executive editors normally have a profile that helps with reputation or sales as well as strategy. They throw them out to advertisers to look good.
