Mamamia #3

I think Hannah Ferguson and Big Small Talk and even the shameless girls and their team are more articulate, entertaining and on the pulse of what women are really talking about. Mamamia used to be the only option now there is so much competition who are doing it much much better

Absolutely agree. I also think a lot of their “hot takes” and feminism chats were topical and relevant back in 2012, but I know I have stepped up in my awareness and knowledge. I’ve graduated Mamamia Feminism 101 and I’m sure a lot of other women my age feel the same.

Spot on. It DID feel fresh and interesting to have the female perspective ‘back in the day’ but as the landscape has opened up and I’ve been accessing different voices (apart from the white middle class women), I feel like I’ve also graduated!

Why do they keep recycling this article?
No I don’t want Mia’s skin

Far more researched and nuanced..you can tell the podcasts that are carefully curated and discussed and those pumped out in the fast fashion equivalent way.

If that's better than it was at 32, lord help her.

I'm laughing at the caption - "ever wondered exactly what Mia Freedman puts on her face?" no. I haven't. Not once.
Never in a million years would I wonder what Mia’s skincare routine is! She has completely average skin, it’s not bad but it’s also nothing remotely special. It’s heartening to see a woman in the public eye not worried about the visible signs of aging (that’s a tagline from Olay or something isn’t it?) but no, I don’t want to know the secrets of how to achieve skin that is completely unremarkable 😂😂

...is this the photo that's meant to be representative of the "better" skin? In terrible shady light with every wrinkle emphasised, not smiling? I mean, she looks fine. She looks like she might have had some dark spots removed and uses a good moisturiser. But sorry, she doesn't look 32 :ROFLMAO:

Yeah she looks completely average in crappy lighting. Literally a non-story. She just wants an article to talk about herself.
