Ollie did a Reddit AMA and essentially said that she was going through a nasty divorce at the time and her ex was sending her awful messages and calling to give her abuse so she was in a very heightened state a lot of the time and would react to everything in that way.

No excuse of course, but it may explain why they saw another side that we didn't. Also begs the question why let someone going through a nasty divorce to enter the programme.

Urgh, he doesn't come across well in all of that, just like someone who can't let go. He was AWFUL to Claire in the beginning and then wonders why she was negative towards him. If my 'husband' openly mocked and belittled me and made fun of things that were important to me I doubt would have cared much about his feelings either.

And about Evelyn 'not because she's hot', so is he trying to say she's not attractive?

He’s an absolute twit. I thought so from the start and nothing he said or did changed my mind.
Of course he chose Evelyn because she’s hot - she’s bloody gorgeous. There’s no way he would have picked her if she was overweight with a face like the back of a bus. I suspect he said that so that people wouldn’t think he’s shallow. He was wrong.

How can we take him seriously anyway when we know he used to watch clips of previous MAFS over and over? He was obviously in there playing a game!
 
I’ve had a quick flick through… I mean, she’s blaming the edit, saying Duncan had a temper and yelled at her (also that he was ‘pretty smart’ and was very careful with what he said and how he came across… so that doesn’t make sense with her previous statement saying he had a temper etc) but frankly everything she’s saying is pretty much exactly as she came across on the show soooo… pretty accurate edit 😂 also she said (more than once) I HAVE A CHIIIAAAALD without a hint of humour behind it. She is, actually, off her head.

Also she reckons she’s not a bad person for bleeping a married guy for 6 months because he was older than her, her boss and told her his marriage was dead (TALE AS OLD AS TIME, you dumb duck) but that she was so angry with Claire because of the ‘manipulation and gaslighting’… but she didn’t manipulate or gaslight anyone cause she’s an angel 😇

also she sat in front of her family filming those stories hahahaha she’s such a beg
