I think the most upsetting thing for me is that the twins have grown up with most the nation thinking their parents killed their sister. Im sure they’ve had many issues at school because of this, all their classmates will know. I doubt they can have friends round their house - what sort of parent would allow their kids to play at the mccanns house?
I wonder what they will think of the story as they get older, will they believe their parents as that what their instinct will tell them to do or will they learn to see through their parents lies and ask them what really happened to their sister Madeleine.
 
I’m sorry but “they’re allowed to laugh” yes of course they are, however having buried a child myself for something completely not my fault I can assure you it was a long time before I laughed again, entitled to or not, the whole lot stinks of a cover up and as someone so very elequently put it Maddeline has become but a footnote in her own disappearance. It’s all horrific and sad
 
@Venuslurker don't know if the women are in on it too. You know they can be child abusers too! This is a police statement and the woman as a mother had thought as a friend of the guy that they're was a more sinister side to him based on his own actions.

I'm not saying it is definitely what happened, none of us know. The waters are murky. For whatever reason they didn't want her found and something like could be a reason.

Unfortunately you must live a very sheltered life if you think child abuse on that level is far fetched or a conspiracy theory. It happens to more than you can imagine. These heinous type of people can exist and they can be fathers,uncles, mothers,teachers, friend of family.anyone.
 
The only video footage I remember seeing if Madeline on the documentary was her singing happy and you know it at the end - only time she seemed like a real person that lived, If that makes sense? I want to know what she was like, not just pictures of her months before she went. It’s all unbearabley sad

There’s smiling and then there’s joking around and laughing, there’s a big difference. He looks happy, not worried at all for his daughter, no remorse for what he and Kate did.

I remember reading a long time ago that Gerry had replaced a faulty fridge in 5a which the owner said was working O.K. when he let the Villa. Someone sent me a

Obviously it's hard to think of the mccanns bring involved in any way but unfortunately it's very common for parents or someone close to the victim being involved.

The points that we know to be FACT and not just us speculating:

  1. Gerry replaced a broken fridge in the rental property. He apparently wrote this on his own blog
  2. The dogs smelt both blood and cadaver in the room, in the later apartment they stayed at and in the rental car
  3. The twins didn’t wake up for hours despite screaming and commotion constantly
  4. Kate refused to answer numerous questions on legal advise but they released the info about her eye despite being told not to
  5. There are pictures of them laughing with friends a couple of days later
  6. The door was unlocked but the window was then opened and the only trace of ANYONE was Kate’s handprint
  7. The stories kept changing about when they were checking and they also lied saying the room could be seen from where they were at the tapas bar
Obviously we’ll never know but those things don’t paint a great picture for them. There’s more too that’s just off the top of my head. It’s a travesty really, poor Madeline

Can someone explain why they wouldn’t release the information about her eye? Would the same happen to an adult?

The bit about them laughing is so ridiculous, they are allowed to laugh, anyone who has been through such an awful trauma will tell you they will find times when they can smile and even laugh, just for a split second.

I haven’t witnessed nor I recall of anyone who’s child been missing for 6 days laughing and so full of life😬! They didn’t go out and look for her, she didn’t once cried, as soon as they were made arguidos of them came to England! There’s a lot of things that don’t ad up, that’s why they guilty, they left her alone!

But 5A was the apartment not the villa, the apartment was where Maddie went missing and they later moved to the villa that was been paid by donations to help finding her.

I think they didn’t want that releasing initially as if someone had abducted her and saw that on the news it would make her too hot to handle being so distinctive and they were worried they would then just kill her and get rid. So the police told them to keep that under their hat so to speak. Kate and Gerry went and announced it

That was my view of why anyway

Thank you. To me it seems like the most obvious thing to announce, but that makes total sense!
 
I feel deeply for this innocent soul. There are so many inconsistencies and hushing of viable evidence I fear she will never get justice. My heart aches for her.

Interestingly apparently by Kate's words and her grandmother she was a difficult child so maybe getting her to settle for the night may have resulted in a horrific accident. I in no way think they set out to murder her and you can tell that Kate is just haunted by it. Gerry is very controlling and she always looks to him for reassurance -am I saying the right thing? Sort of way. I've watched a few videos on YouTube regarding their body language and it's very telling. Gerry is very arrogant and very smug, which is evident from interviews and personal appearances. Asked about how he felt when he realised his child was missing he answered along the lines of - finding out That you are overdrawn on your student loan (something like that - evidence from a video interview). What a cruelly bizzare analogy about your flesh and blood being snatched and in danger to something so petty and insignificant. He really annoys me. Don't get me started on the smirk or the sarcastic "ask the dogs Sandra" when questioned about the blood/cadaver odour being found. Also the 4th birthday party a few weeks after she was missing and they realeased balloons he looked like he was having the time of his life - if you didn't know the context. Truly bizarre people.

I feel that Gerry comes across that way (as well as calm during press questions) because of his job. He’s a cardiologist in a very well established cardiac hospital, you have to be calm and calculated at all times. I’m not saying all doctors are like that, but sometimes it becomes part of their personality.
 
Off topic -At 27, unfortunately I regularly see many cardiologists and all have been warm and friendly. I think you may mean cardiac surgeonsOr regular surgeons. There has been evidence of this but have read about them having to be almost sociopathic to distance themselves from the line of work they do- literally cutting up someone . However a cardiologyist is just a dr who specialises in the heart and think it's unfair generalisation that all Drs are cold and calculating. How he comes across speaks volumes to me but that is just my opinion after thorough investigating the police files and things not reported on by the mainstream media. I m just giving my 2 cents here in the hope that people will investigate outside of the box and not swallow the narrative that she was abducted as the only truth.


Edit to say - he is a father, first and foremost. Being a father, he should answer the question like a father not a dr at work. If comparing your beloved daughter to a poxy student loan is normal to some people... Gosh I just don't know :(

I just honestly can’t see how anyone can think she was abducted. It’s obvious the poor girl died either that night or before. Not saying they set out to kill her but something happened which lead to her death that they did and then they covered it up
 
To say she never existed is simply illogical. Everything I have mentioned has had weight behind it in terms of video evidence or statements to the police/police files. There are videos of her for goodness sake. This idiot is only after viral hits and likes on Twitter 😂
