He seems to be quietly distancing himself from MiC. He was only very briefly on it in the last series (Liv too, from what I recall). I think a lot of hate has been levelled at him because he allegedly sat back and allowed James to kiss another woman (because James isn't a big boy and can't make his own decisions) and then the Harvey cheating thing. But to be fair to him, he did advise Harvey to be honest with Emily but also didn't rat on him when Harvey decided to kept schtum and denied cheating. I don't think Tristan could have won either way. Damned if he did, damned if he didn't.

I remember when he first joined the show and Sam crashed his date with Habbs, then completely cockblocked him and eventually dated Habbs himself. Asshole move on Sam's part but Tristan was very dignified and nature throughout the whole thing.

tbf over the course of the show there have been a few moments were he hasn’t come across well based purely on his own actions/statements.

he lied on behalf of one of the guys cheating - I can’t remember if it was Harvey or James or both, and had some pretty grim double standards.

He’s come across as pretty controlling and sexist at various points.

he’s not the worst contender but most MIC guys are pretty problematic, narcissistic and sexist to varying degrees and Tristan is no different.

I really fancied him when he first joined the show but gradually his behaviour and mindset put me off him completely.

Fair enough points. I agree he's oscillated between being decent and bit of a dick (e.g. when he told Tiff to shut up. Absolute twit move). Perhaps he seems less of a knob nowadays compared to some of the hideously toxic behaviour of certain other blokes in more recent series. In terms of him covering for James and Harvey, would I do the same in his situation? Yeah I would, because I wouldn't feel right ratting out a close mate on national TV. But behind the scenes, I definitely would be encouraging them to do the right thing and be honest with their partner. He seems to have improved somewhat in this latest iteration of a relationship with Liv (I think they had couples therapy?). Tbf, I think the show has been severely lacking in models of healthy behaviour from men (bar Jordan) and it's something that seriously needs to be addressed. Then again, they serve a dramatic purpose and the show needs its villains for viewing figures, so I can't see it changing any time soon.

i Get not wanting to land your buddy in it… but Tristan out and out lied. He could’ve told the producers he didn’t want to be involved, he could’ve steered the conversation away from that. But he lied.

we all tell the odd fib or white lie here and there - but Tristan lied to someone’s face and that, to me, is a sign of a total lack of character (tv show or not). Plus as you say, being generally a bit grumpy and rude to female cast members just adds to the general cuntishness

You know what, there have been so many head blokes on the show in the latest series that I genuinely forgot why people can't stand Tristan as he hasn't been on in a while(maybe I need a refresher😅)Yeah, you do make a fair point - he, Harvey, Rez and James had something of a boys' club going, and all had eachother's backs despite how appallingly Harvey etc behaved. On reflection, it would have been a wise move for Tristan to not get involved in that storyline because let's face it, nothing on that show ever stays a secret. I do wish that the female members of cast - and male for that matter - would do more to call the blokes out on their vile behaviour.

There seems to be a culture on that show of guys getting a slap on the wrist for behaving like trash and treating women like tit, yet if a female cast member does something relatively minor, she's sl*tshamed and vilified no end. I honestly don't know why Inga's decided to stay on the show after all Ruby's bullying and various other cast members spreading malicious gossip about her. Also, I think the decent blokes among them (i.e. Fred and Digby) need to stop quietly sitting back and watching their good mates to treat women like garbage. Time to speak up boys!

Er, and how many women have you publicly humiliated and treated like complete dogshit?! And now you're pandering for sympathy?!! Even worse are the idiots praising his "bravery" and "vulnerability", and how "proud" they are of him in the comments. Get a bloody grip you enabling knobbers!

Hmm, I'm still not getting the "coming out" vibe. I mean, he could well be talking about a bloke but I think they're more alluding to the fact chronic commitment-phobe Miles, who still blames Maeva for his complete inability to respect women, finally "opened up his heart" and allowed himself to fall for someone, only for him to get sacked off. I still think he's disgusting for that podcast interview he did the other month, where he claimed that women who go out with their female mates can't be trusted because they only do it to cocktease and get free drinks from men. Sexist twit.

That Canada post is so sketchy, there is a strong hint about him going to Canada alone then he's in the sea with a man that says something a bit lovely about him. The I'm so proud of you stuff. But it's soo vague it could be interpreted as anything.

Maybe my gaydar is completely off, but I'm not getting that vibe at all from his post😅I mean, I reckon he's bi, but if he is teasing something out then he's a bit deluded if he thinks a) anyone cares about his sexual orientation b) he's even remotely important enough to start doing a Harry Styles "is he/isn't he?" thing on us. The video of him in the sea with his "bro" was just weird😅 Again, I didn't get a gay vibe but I wouldn't put it past Miles to be doing it as some attention-seeking tactic.

What I find interesting about his Instagram comments is how much love, fawning and adoration he gets from people, and not anything in the way of criticism about his behaviour on the show (compared to certain other cast members). MiC aside, he's also presented himself in a tremendously arrogant, entitled and unlikable light on other shows, i.e. Celebs go dating and that podcast of his). It's weird, and as if his very good looks give him a hall pass for behaving like a complete tit.
 
I too was under the impression he was going to meet a girl - someone on here watched the TikTok live he did with her so someone knows who she is!! But why in his post did he say he was “alone” in Canada?? Maybe karma finally got him and he flew out there so spend time with this girl and she did a Miles when Ella Ding flew over and spent one day with him and then got cold feet and ditched him? Such a dramatic post if that’s what he’s referring to?

My thoughts exactly. Ain't karma a witch? What annoys me is the fact he did the exact same thing to Ella on national bloody TV then has the audacity to publicly pander for the sympathy vote when the same thing happens to him. Then again, he seems to have always had a habit of playing the victim when things don't go his way romantically and scapegoating women, yet has zero qualms about using and lovebombing them then tossing them aside when he gets bored. I remember Inga said exactly this to Yasmine, and how he did this to her and various other women, when she warned her about dating him.
 
Is it me but when miles has a hat on when he's riding the bike in his stories he looks like a girl
(Bit stupid to film yourself while riding al a bike on the road if I was his mum he would be getting a bollocking)
