You’re right about that, I guess this show (like for many) was her way of boosting her profile and generating a career off her followers

I think Toff got stuck in some country as there was something wrong with her passport but because she is semi famous she got away with it or something? Maeva has been sick recently so she basically gave her baby to her mother in law - a week later the baby is still there. James also went on a ski holiday, is not back, and staying with Maeva, not the baby

I'd be interested to know exactly what went down in his and Maeva's relationship, and who was the bigger nightmare. He still seems to blame all his emotional avoidance issues and being a dick to women on the fallout from that. He was a few years younger, so I can imagine him being a typical bloke in his early 20s, wildly partying and not wanting to be tied down, while he's said on a podcast how suffocating she was and that she isolated him from his social life (sound familiar?). I mean it sounds traumatic, but come on dude, you can't still be blaming a woman for your trash behaviour five years after you broke up.

I feel a bit bad for Tristan. He's winning but I would consider him one of the better-looking/less cringe guys to fancy on the show. Also there are five people on this planet that fancy Ryan Libbey?!!! I also just remembered Harry Baron. Definitely not my cup of Earl Grey but I'm sure he's a worthy cringe crush contender😅

Miles needs to come out and fast perhaps he will stop being so angry and feel so put upon, he hates women.

Jemz and Maeva (boring as this topic is because they are brats, I’m beginning to find them unbearable) wanted a break and are struggling -simple. Covid etc was excuse. No mother willingly gives up their newborn so readily like that. Her sanctimonious attitude is stomach churning.

And finally is Ruby OK? That fella 😮 how concerning. Hadn’t realised she was so filled with self hate and lacking in self esteem.

I think Ruby needs therapy before she jumps into another relationship. It feels like she's had no proper breathing room to process her relationship/break-up with Rez and the fact it took up such a formative chunk of her life and identity. Having been in that position, your identity becomes so swallowed up/enmeshed in your relationship that you lose sense of yourself. After the boredom and drudgery of her last relationship, I think she probably finds this new guy and his wild ways - and clearly Rez's polar opposite - exciting and exhilarating. They say your choice of partner is a reflection of how you feel about yourself, and boy, her new choice fella is pointing to someone with ravaged self-esteem.
 
I dunno about you, I'm concerned about getting my drink spiked rather than aiming to get free drinks. Male attention is cheap and often annoying on a night out, lol. Miles was one of my faves when he joined but his routine is getting tired. That line of thinking is very 'well she's asking for it' and he sounds immature af. Also he's the one who befriends and beds all the girls, taken or not, for a constant supply of attention.

Looks like Sam Thompson got his dream of working on Love Island. He's the ultimate fan, lol. He'll be hosting their podcast and be in Aftersun.

He did some good interviews with her on private parts in the past, you can tell they're genuinely friends which is quite rare on podcasts! Will definitely listen too ☺️

Edit: just to add Not referring to Mimi as a slapper because she’s a woman, would call a man a slapper too. It’s anyone cheap/lacking in moral imho, whatever the gender! (Too many nasty phrases & anti-sexual liberty assigned for women only & I’m not about about that - no gender discrimination for eejits here!)

Juicy. I do like his podcast, despite what an arrogant knobber he's reported to be IRL. I couldn't make head nor tail of who was the actual dick in that Lucy and Steph's friendship. I feel like Steph was unfairly vilified on the show and the girls ganged up on her a bit. She seemed to be a genuinely decent friend to Lucy etc, but it all came to blows when she guilt-tripped Tiff into confessing her cheating to Sam. Then again, she was forever falling out with people on The Hills and doing weird angry IG videos about how evil her brother and Heidi are.

This taps into what annoys me about MiC. Shocking double standards. Miles and his mates are allowed to go sleeping around and binning off woman at the drop of a hat and it's quickly forgiven, yet the moment someone like Inga, a single woman, gets off with another single bloke, she's branded thirsty and relentlessly vilified. Sam Prince is another example. How many girlfriends did he cheat on, but was consistently let off on account of them thinking he's some charming, rascally cad.

I'm too busy having a good time. I'll buy my own drinks, ta very much. Plus there are never any fit blokes in clubs once you hit a certain age, just early 20-somethings and gross sleazes😅
