Good for Mimi. I didn't see that one lasting tbh, and didn't have a favourable opinion of her after she rampantly chased after Fred while he was in a new relationship with Olivia, which effectively caused their break-up. But I did feel bad for her when Tiff slut-shamed her when she got with Sam after his and Tiff's break up. She was pretty vile towards her, from what I remember, and called her a fat dumpling. Overall, I think she was one of the less aggravating cast members over the years, which is saying something 😅She does love banging on about manifestations, doesn't she?😂

I definitely feel the producers probably invited Mimi on to the show to play a bit of a 'man stealer' role then maybe she regretted agreeing to it. At the emd she got her man and herself out of the MIC dramz.
Tiff had a lot of cheek to be horrid to Mimi, as she cheated on Sam just as much if not more. Liv also was a hypocrite. They just pick and choose which girls to villify.

I think the manifest-y platform is a pretty easy sell for MIC cast-offs as they already have aspirational lifestyles. Pretty easy to say you manifested your dream holiday/home when your parents bankrolled it lol 😆 but good for her. It keeps them occupied. I'm not even making fun, I'm trying to get into in for 2023 😅

On the topic of Where are They Now?/New Year revies...Which cast members have had the best trajectory/spin-off from MIC?

I think:

* Jaime Laing. His sweets business seems stable and successful. He's still a fairly big public figure and seems to always have a popular podcast.

* Zara McDermott. Only a short time on MIC but got pretty good opportunities doing documentaries for the BBC.

* Maeva (assuming she's on maternity leave but no evidence as such). She pretty much revived MIC's most recent series and bagged her ring from a ££ man and baby. That's no shade, but it seems for her it that was always a goal by a certain age.

What do we think of toff? Georgia toffolo

she’s an interesting one.

for context, her mum was from a well off family, whereas Toff’s father is from humbler roots. He was a car repairman and now collects scrap metal and is also a commercial property landlord. Her parents broke up when she was a baby and never married.

I don’t think there’s a bad relationship there between Toff and her dad, but it’s interesting to me that she’s chosen to take her mum’s family name. I think her dad has made something of himself and had a good income (and he comes across as a nice man), but I don’t think he fits the profile of a upper middle class dad that Toff proscribes to from her mums side and from her posh education. Interestingly, her mum has been accused of being “socially ambitious” .

I think that’s why she clings to the likes of Stanley Johnson, who does fit that profile of upper class dad and does have the kind of background Toff identifies more strongly with.

I think there’s a bit of an identity crisis with Toff, and I think that’s why she’s so drawn to Tory politics - because there’s an element of elitism there. Throughout history, the biggest snobs tend to be people most insecure in where they fit in, in society.

Not saying that’s the only reason people are Tory, but I think it’s why it appeals to Toff.

Oh wow. I quite liked the Liv/Fred combo and thought it was a shame it didn't work out. If it is fabricated then I'm surprised that the producers set up that scene where Liv completely lost her shit at Mimi in a club, calling her the trashiest, cheapest human being she's met in her life. It seemed to come from a very, er, real place and would be a bit fucked up for the producers to fabricate that too🤔(Perhaps Mimi just said that to save face?) I can't find the exact clip on YouTube but I did come across this one, and Liv's rage seems pretty real to me lol...

Yeah it’s hard to know, she seemed pretty defiant about the Liv/Fred drama being fake but had stayed tight lipped on the Tiffany/Sam drama- so I would say the latter situation was more real and she had no real defence on that one.

Wow Miles, I knew you were a bit of a knob-cheese but now you're going on podcasts saying that women only go out with their female mates to cocktease and get validation from men, and free champagne!

These episodes of made in Chelsea with the Fred / Mimi /Liv triangle are my absolute fav. Fred always seemed so awkward in them and I agree that they do seem pretty genuine!

I agree Zara has had some good opportunities but I actually think it’s off the back of love island rather than MIC. Love it or hate it, LI boosts the influencer profile more than MIC. Zara has more followers than both Louise and Sam Thompson and she wasn’t in MIC for long.

I think she meant the drama with her and Liv/Fred was fake and not necessarily that Liv/Fred’s relationship was fake. Anyway, who knows for sure, just thought i would bring it up as she spoke on it directly 😊
If it's fake, she can't really have a pop at the show when she was fully complicit in the storyline. It's weird of her to play a victim after acquiescing with filming those scenes where Liv was particularly vicious towards her and basically branded her a slut🤨

Zara wasn’t on Love Island for very long either though.

I suspect part of Zara’s success is a combination of getting audiences from both TV shows PLUS the X Factor.

shes also branched out into documentaries and TV hosting, neither Sam nor Louise do this (to my knowledge).

in other words. zara seems to be more proactive/ambitious with her career than either Sam or Louise and I suspect she’s got more proactive management as well. (They are all managed by Insanity Group but Zara has two managers)

Doesn't he go out to find women to have sex with, lead them on for a bit and then dump them?
He is a grade A twat. I can't stand the insufferable prick.

When he was first introduced I thought he was proper fit and quite likeable in terms of his personality. And as time’s gone on just watching the way he’s treated women and his arrogance etc, it’s totally put me off him. He comes across as a bit of a bellend.

I don’t know how ‘real’ the show is and fair play it most likely is scripted in many ways, but for example I was proper shocked that he didn’t want to pursue things further with Izzy. I know looks aren’t everything but she’s clearly absolutely beautiful. He must think a lot of himself to turn her down.

Women are toys for him and he doesn't seem to have much respect for the ones he gets involved with.

Hey I'm knew to this thread but what happened with Toff's passport? Also what do people mean when they say Maever has left her baby?

lol

wasn’t it Tiff who exposed Melissa and played the voice note?
It was Liv but definitely more fitting of Tiff back in the day when she was part of the Ruby/Melissa/Habbs witches coven. I think the voicenote was originally sent to Tiff though, so yeah, she enabled it.

That’s why I don’t understand how Miles has female friends. How do they tolerate him and his antics?
He's such a POS, couldn't believe my eyes when I read that. I'd be tearing him a new one if he was my mate!

I think he just wants to fuck himself tbh💁🏻‍♀️He doesn't seem to think any woman is a good enough match for him. The amount of topless mirror selfies he posts on his Instagram while pulling weird sultry faces is cringey beyond f. I can't get over the hilarity of this one😂:
