Think verity just taking any chance she can get at a bit of screen time 🤣🤣 poor diggers.

Do you think they could have kept that a secret tho for so long?
I honestly just think it’s the producers and James that know what he’s planning so yeah I suppose it would be easy to keep it quiet. I think he knows his mates are gobshites and if he discusses it on camera there might be overlap with it being shown. I think he’s doing a double bluff but given Maeve’s personality that’s very risky!

Episode 5 spoiler …

Right wtffffff Harvey. How dare he say it’ll be hard to see Emily with someone else when he’s messed her around for god knows how long !!! He hasn’t cared about her at all like the last year of their relationship going out 4 time a week. I’ll never forget that 🤣. I love how cold she is being. I actually thought for one minute she would take him back but when he’s in tears (looks fake to me tho) and she just walks off! You go Emily 🤣 least she actually has some respect for herself.

I’ve actually always rated Emily and how she’s approached situations, she can be fiery and stand up for herself but she’s always rational and fair. She seems to be the most level headed normal one out of all of them

I rewatched seasons 17 and 18 (just Miles and Maeva parts) and it's so sad to watch how they obviously love each other so much, Miles was just not ready to commit to her and get back in a serious relationship until she was with James. He doesn't want to let her go, yet doesn't want to fight for her. When she started with James he probably thought it was just a rebound and didn't expect them to get married one day. It's heartbreaking. If Maeva marries James, both Miles and Maeva will always wonder what if.

Inga has claimed on more than one occasion that Liv is her best friend. Rather than speak to Liv about being pissed off re: the meal thing she avoids her.

Obviously Inga’s reaction is really extreme for it to only be about the dinner, but she makes no effort to explain what the issue is other than say she’s a tit friend. At the meal she claims Liv was never her best friend. Her reaction is just not proportionate to the crime IMO. She seems very opinionated and angry for a bit part character. If she disappeared and never came back I’d not miss her in the slightest.

She made a fool of herself getting with the shiny-faced troll Sam Prince despite the fact he led her and Verity a merry dance. She sided with a man over a girl - fine if she didn’t have a friendship with Verity but she claimed to be so upset because they were friends!

She refuses to forgive Verity and instead tries to stop anyone from being friends with her. Now it’s all blown up in her face because she’s no longer friends with Liv and Sam Prince has shat on her again.

I don't really see it that way tbh, avoiding somebody who you considered a friend because you feel hurt by them is ...normal ...and dare I say, sensible? Pressuring somebody into a volatile conversation that they clearly don't want or aren't yet ready for, simply because you wanna project your false narrative, proven by her being so quick to then hurl targeted abuse at Inga about things their boyfriend has said in confidence [whether he should have or not] is sociopathic, this is why Liv is suddenly so set on "never speaking to her again" she has to continue making out Inga is the bad guy, even her so called reasons for being upset qith Inga make NO sense, because she's literally making them up to cover her own crappy behaviour. Inga literally just attempted to set boundaries with a few people who clearly have major issues with boundaries. I just assumed this explained all her reaction at that dinner, she was yet again forced into a volatile situation, gaslit and insulted for.... showing up to dinner? As I said, she never got a chance to say say much so idk how she could have explained and tbh it doesn't doesn't matter, she didn't want to explain and that's absolutely fine because she wasn't the one cornering people into these conversations.

The only person she told not to be friends with Verity was Sam, surely we are not going to pretend not to understand that? Her issue with Liv wasn't being Veritys friend, it was the inviting and lying nonsense.

Im just watching S23 episode 6 now!
Digby says he broke up with Emma. This was filmed 2 months ago but a week ago on instgram they posted stories hanging out together and kissing etc. Wth!

Or are they posting past events to keep up with the MIC timeline

But why won’t Miles fight for her though…I do not believe he is in love with her at all except for what he feels could’ve been! James is acting selfishly. She isn’t likeable imho but
the whole situation must be very confusing and upsetting for Maeva. It’s all water water and not a drop to drink. Nobody can give her what she wants - sadly for women time does run out for the things she wants. Her looks will fade and men will do what they always do. She is a better off finding someone who she can fulfil her dreams with (saying that, I think James will propose before this series is up)

Oh God this means they got back together… why Diggers!

Yep I can see that 😂 We can agree to disagree.

I just don’t think that Inga is the victim here. I certainly don’t think Ollie inviting her to the meal is an example of gaslighting?! Liv wasn’t aware she was coming (although may have had an inkling as there was another place set at the table) and neither wanted to talk to each other. Inga definitely held her own at that meal hence the reaction from Ollie and Paris.

If you have to tell your boyfriend who to be friends with then you’re clearly in the wrong relationship. She looks a total mug now she trusted him and she’s pissed off because it doesn’t fit this image she’s created for herself as some strong, fierce ball breaker who takes no tit. She also got mugged off by Miles in the series before and I had sympathy for her then because it wasn’t her fault.

why would james do that i really don’t understand, they can always be engaged for over a year and maeva would still have the security that she needs and wants. i really dislike him after that horribley cold response. get up it’s embarrassing???? she has balls !! and she owned the room and told everyone before they could start gossiping about it ! love her

I think Maeva forgot to factor into the equation- Manhood. James is British and probably has a traditional view about proposing and marriage. He wants to propose otherwise it would emasculate him.

But he could have just accepted privately and then repropose to her 1/2 yearlater when he’s ready

Ah fair enough. Just to clarify though, I didn't mean gaslit by Ollie, I mean entirely by Liv.
