ETA, and no, there is no guarantee parents will stay together and that’s alright. However, ideally, two people can choose to have their child in a dynamic that is healthy and non-chaotic and where the parents have at least had some success in dealing interpersonally with each other in a productive way so that they do not put all this on their child who will inevitably absorb it and have to deal with it.

I think it’s more “antiquated” to be like ‘oh yay baby, oh it’ll all work out what a blessing’ (not saying YOU were saying that), than it is to be realistic about the place parents should try to be in before making the choice to raise a child and the impacts of the environment on a child. But of course when we get the countless Instagram posts about how random Influencer regrets motherhood or the deluge of the pArEnTinG is HaRd genre, we are supposed to find it inspiring.

Haha yeah the bar is on the floor when it comes to scripted reality tv show relationships! I guess I er more on the side of people get drunk and make pretty grim mistakes but it doesn’t mean that they are ultimately bad people or that it’s worth throwing away a relationship you’ve been in for years. Not saying either action is acceptable but more that they kind of cancel each other out as far as I’m concerned in terms of bad behaviour so they deserve each other!

I hope their real life relationship isn’t as chaotic as what we see on MIC and that they will hopefully be good parents or at least try to ensure a healthy dynamic for their kid if they do split.
 



Something about this feels as if James didn't put much thought into it. Maybe he was nervous?!
I personally would want a proposal that's a bit more intimate and doesn't involve my BF shouting over the loud splashes of a water fountain and tourists...

but congrats!! If they like it, I love it 🤷🏽‍♀️

Going to try and watch last weeks new ep this week/tonight (so confusing!) old skool style. Been a week without MIC - ah the good old days…

Anyway hmmmm I’m undecided on the wedding outfits. They are clearly trying to look hot af and probably attempting to contrast with the bridesmaids who are all floral, virginal and cutesy (they would've known. Tiff was quite open with her wedding styles even with her followers. I at one point wondered whether Cameron would have any element of surprise re Tiffs bridal look,she was sharing so much !)

However I admit I was quite when I saw Ruby’s dress she looked like she was on her way back from the club the morning after borrowing the blazer home.

Melissa and Habbs’ dresses simply didnt suit them & neither did those silly matching shoes, which just look kind of odd.
 
Ummmm ok I wish I hadn’t seen it, wtf. She was so awkward she didn’t even interact with him at all. I get she was in shock but wow. I am cringing.

Tiff’s wedding guest outfits were so casual. They could have been walking down the street to go shopping and not looked out of place. Why not dress up a bit? They were in day dresses!
 
I’ve just seen the dress on her Instagram. Changed my mind. Not suitable at all 😆

Proposals are akward. They're not like the movies. Everything went tits up when my husband proposed, and I had a bit of a face on because we were on holiday and he started being really regimented on where we go and what we do. I was so shocked and happy when he did propose I didn't even say yes until promted.

Ruby's dress very attention seeking for a wedding and also posting it for an ad, cheap as duck. The other girls, maybe tiff said she wanted it to be casual and garden party vibes. Nothing wrong with wearing short dresses. I only wear shorts skirts, I don't like other lengths on me.
 
the proposal was cute and awkward i thought it was sweet and i mean they’ve done so much other awkward and embarsssing stuff on tv i feel like this is just a them proposal. i’m so happy for maeva!!!! i hope her pregnancy goes smoothly and i can imagine her having a beautiful intimate wedding
 
Yeah agreed rubys dress is not wedding appropriate and I agree proposals can be awkward, Mine was, had it been filmed it would have been that level of awks. I was so surprised but my husband was so nervous he barely said a word and was on one knee for about 0.5 of a second. Mostly lolling at the people around them not Giving two shits
