Liv still as vile as ever... how she has any friends is beyond me because in some way she always shits on each and every one of them!

Sadly, for those that run in superficial crowds, $$$ trumps everything else. I know this firsthand-- my mom is American and my dad's a proud Brit. Although I'm not wealthy, I was raised in a very affluent town in America, but often visited family in the UK. My classmates that were incredibly wealthy-- I'm talking parents with a net worth of $100million +, not exaggerating-- would constantly tit on those they considered beneath them. Why? Because they knew it'd be tolerated and overlooked. There exists this notion that since wealthy people have access to the best-of-the-best, those who aren't will pander to them-- regardless of the poor behavior they exhibit-- in hopes that they can gain access to the same opportunities.

I'm unsure how wealthy Liv's family is, but judging by their estate, I'm going to assume that they're very well off. In fact, I believe that she's one of the few on MIC whose family comes from "old money". It seems a lot of people are willing to kiss Liv's ass in order to remain in her good graces. I highly doubt if she was piss poor those same friends would be willing to stick around...

Just look at Verity and Liv. Verity's quick to be an ass towards people like Paris, etc. but when it comes to Liv she's not as bold.

I'm sure very few of Liv's "friends" genuinely like her and aren't using her for their personal gain...

I agree with everything you've said, just wanted to point out it's likely a dose of racism at play also there. Apparently Paris is from wealth, she just isn't white or seemingly as impressed with people trying to brown nose her, as much as say Liv is.

Sorry but I think all these ‘baby trapping’ comments are SO antiquated and ultimately sexist. At the end of the day if you’re sleeping with someone and not using protection then it is on BOTH people involved- not the woman. MIC is scripted reality tv show and these two 100% play it up for the cameras - you can see them smirking at times! Did James get wasted and kiss someone else? Yeah probably. Did Maeva ask her ex to shag her on national tv? Also yes. That doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be together! I think they are both semi toxic on tv but at the end of the day you can see that they really do care about each other. And so what if they don’t stay together - it’s such an outdated view that parents have to be together forever when they have a baby or that kids can’t be happy if their parents divorce. They may well split up in a few years down the line but so what? as long as the baby is supported / loved / cared for that’s the main thing.

Does it not? Lol.
The bar is on the floor.

ETA, and no, there is no guarantee parents will stay together and that’s alright. However, ideally, two people can choose to have their child in a dynamic that is healthy and non-chaotic and where the parents have at least had some success in dealing interpersonally with each other in a productive way so that they do not put all this on their child who will inevitably absorb it and have to deal with it.

I think it’s more “antiquated” to be like ‘oh yay baby, oh it’ll all work out what a blessing’ (not saying YOU were saying that), than it is to be realistic about the place parents should try to be in before making the choice to raise a child and the impacts of the environment on a child. But of course when we get the countless Instagram posts about how random Influencer regrets motherhood or the deluge of the pArEnTinG is HaRd genre, we are supposed to find it inspiring.
