I donāt think their particular storyline was scripted - but call me naive. I donāt think Maeva would go alone with a cheating storyline if it wasnāt true - why humiliate yourself purely for tv?
To that end, Iām a bit concerned James was not ready for marriage or kids and now BOTH are happening simultaneous and heās still quite young. I wish them all the best and hope itās a happy ending but I can see why he might be overwhelmed down the line and act out because he āwasnāt readyā.

I think he was going on about not being ready as a way to maintain control of when & where the proposal would be, I don't necessarily think he meant it. I think a big part of his awful reaction to Maeva's proposal was that he'd lost that control.
I also might be naive but I believed James when he said that he'd already bought the ring but hadn't proposed yet because he had a specific date and place in mind- I know quite a few guys who've planned a proposal to that extent and James definitely comes across as the type of guy to carefully plan every big moment. It may have partly been because he was planning for it to be a big moment on the show, but I think even when he's off camera he's probably the type of person who likes to have his life mapped out quite neatly.

Just catching up, so probably been covered, but yes if looks like theyve broken up again. Not at wedding together, hanging with Emily holding hands with Melissa. Sheās āsingleā seemingly. Riz going out of his way to act like heās having a good time lol. Definitely another toxic R&R break up on the horizon, they are so exhausting!Sorry if this has already been discussed but what was going with Rez/Ruby and a footballer? And now she doesnāt know if she wants Rez, AGAIN

Hahahaha thank you for posting this, made me howl! Always found Rosieās ADHD eye and Millieās voice/pout ridiculously outrageous. Very funny. They were so unbelievably vacuous and childish - summed up perfectly in this skit lol
I feel like they go back to one another and will continue to do so because no one else wants to deal with them. They try and make it seem like it is all complicated because they have 'history' but we the viewers are not interested in their history. I know it sounds so rude to say that, but they are both so unappealing personality-wise. They don't seem to like one another either but misery loves company.
I think she was wishing him happy birthday on her stories and saying ālove youā whilst on Tiffās hen, but I might be remembering that wrong. Itās very bizarre, they never look happy together.

So Sam Thompson decided to make a wedding parody video using a tik tok trend.
Heās acting out a wedding ceremony with Zara and his family during their holiday to Mykonos. Obviously he must have been influenced by all his friends posting Tiff Watsonās wedding on their stories. And wanted to rub in her face that heās better off too and will marry ?
Does he ever take a rest? And Zara agreed to do it, somethings not right

I don't think Mavea is a trick pregnancy kinda girl. But I think the desperate proposal may have been because she was pregnant.
I still don't believe the cheating happened.

Iāve been rewatching the series and just seen Maeva come onto the show. Itās 2 years after her and Miles broke up at that point and she is UNHINGED. The mental warfare she was playing. Miles was only like 18-21 during their time together and she was in her mid to late 20s. She only got with James to piss Miles off and then kept asking Miles if he wanted her to dump James for him. Miles said he wasnāt ready to give her what she wanted and she was talking about ārunning out of timeā back then.
Sheās already in her 30s now and James is much younger than her as well. She DEFINITELY has it in her to baby trap a man.
