Why did Julian / Julius just stand there and get involved in Emma & Dignys conversation?!

Julius can never keep his stupid quiff out of other people's dramas 🙄
Like just leave and let them talk dude.

The boys all have a classic case of wanting what they can't have. Tristan wants Emma because she's with Digby.
Miles wants Emily because she's been off the cards for so long and the only girl he hasn't played yet.
And next week Sam Prince wants Ingatestone back - of course 🙄
I don't think Inga will take him back, but I really hope the whole thing humiliates smug Verity - very publicly! 😂

Freddie, Paris and Robbie need wayyyy more air time 😭

Julius seems to be awful at reading social cues. He won't leave a situation until he's literally told to. I find it really odd because I don't remember him being that awkward when he was on the show before? Is it just determination to be on screen as much as possible? Or was he always like this and I've remembered wrong?!

I don't want Emily and Miles to get together because I love their dynamic and tbh there aren't enough male/female friendships on this show so it's nice to see one. I hope the "will they/won't they?" thing between them is just a storyline because they seem to genuinely love and respect each other as friends.

Tristan and Verity are both the type of person who feels validated by knowing they were able to tempt someone away from their partner. That's why Verity is suddenly so in to Sam Prince again and why Tristan wants Emma to fancy him. They don't care who it is, they just want the ego boost of knowing they could "steal" someone.

Paris and Robbie seem like nice people and they definitely need more storylines. It was brilliant last season to hear Paris discuss racism within dating and Robbie discussing his concerns about coming out and the HIV crisis- we need more of those convos on TV!! But because neither of them have been on screen much since then it's starting to feel a bit... I dunno if tokenistic is the right word? But it's making it seem as if they were brought in as a way to instigate those conversations instead of because they're good cast members who deserve to be there. I hope I'm not wording this insensitively, but I just mean it's starting to feel like they aren't given the opportunity to be involved in anything that isn't directly related to their identity which isn't fair on them. They absolutely should be having thiose conversations on mainstream TV, but it shouldn't be the only thing they do.

Emma calling Digby "selfish" for breaking up with her was weird AF. If you want to leave a relationship then that should be your choice. Trying to stop someone from breaking up with you if they want to is the selfish thing IMO.

I won't go in to Maeva and James because this post is already far too long 😂

Did anyone listen to the recent Jamie podcast with Alex mytton. They did a lie detector test and 2 questions related to Alex’s cheating era with a Binky. One question he failed was “did you cheat on binky more times than you let on”. It was a fail and they started manic fits of laughter like it was the funniest thing in the world. Do they not realise that this scared Binky for life and her self confidence at the time was gone. It led her to be Insecure and chasing the next man who didn’t want a relationship but ended up impregnating her.
The other question was “did you cheat on Binky with 20 women”. He said no - it came out true but Alex then joked it was 19. So that’s why it’s didn’t alarm. but I’m not sure how true this is. Imagine getting cheated on 19 times!! But some of that was probably the mad orgy.

Then Jamie had a turn on the lie detector machine but Alex didn’t really ask juicy questions. It would have been interesting to ask “does he really love Sophie, was he interested in her when Sam was seeing her or crying to him about her etc. Apparently Jamie’s friends say he’s a narcissist, self obsessed and cold behind the eyes. Alex mytton says this quiet often on the podcast. Sophie has said it a few times. So how does a narcissist love someone?

verity after checking her stories on insta

oh my god I’ve never related to anyone more than you right now! I have literally said the same thing about Liv although I didn’t give her job! The accuracy of this post and my thoughts has blown my mind 🤣

I have so much more but it would take up the whole thread. It felt good to offload. 😆

I’m not up to date with episodes, but am already dre
I’m sorry what?! James cheats on Maeva? WTF. Then blurts out he has a ring to save himself / stop her from leaving him. I’m sad for Maeva, cos I think they’ll stay together and actually get married. But also the whole Miles thing IS fucked up - and Emily said it best; it’s disrespectful and it’s not on and if it was her she’d have walked away.

Tristan makes me sick. I can’t believe I ever thought he was a stand up guy. I hate the rousing way he talks as if he’s always making a speech / rallying the troops. Someone else mentioned his lips earlier and I’ve always thought they were strange because they are the EXACT same shade as the rest of his face, making him look like he has lips, like a cartoon (think Tommy from the Rugrats). So his best friend has just broken up with his girlfriend and he’s straight in there like “do you fancy me”. Made me laugh out loud when she said no! I thought she was joking or being coy at first but then she said “sorry” I thought serves you right you arrogant prick.

Felt weird watching Digby discuss his dilemma with Liv sat right there because SHE is the reason he’s fucked up and terrified of being vulnerable. I’d feel so guilty to hear all of that knowing I messed someone up but I don’t think she gives a tit.

I can see Sam Prince has gone back to try and talk Inga round in next week’s ep. Why not just leave her alone ffs? I swear it’s a game to him and he gets a kick out of it. Him and Verity are welcome to each other. Verity always looks so dated.

James has almost reached Narnia. 🙄 I can’t help but like him, he’s like a loveable fool but definitely not the red-blooded male Maeva wants….

Hit the nail on the head with Tristan. What an absolute bore he is. He reminds me of the old chap in Derry girls that turns up and rambles on at everyone with his tit, relentless stories. He takes himself so seriously and has the charisma of a flannel. Also, possibly anaemic judging by the perfect nude tone of his lips, get the man some iron!

Inga has also inspired my vitriol of late. At first I thought she was cool, but now every little thing annoys me. Her poorly coloured straw-effect hair and her irrational anger just seem more Towie than Chelsea. She’s just not posh enough for this show.

I can't even cope with the girls all being doe eyed over Sam Prince, he just looks slimy. I don't get it at all, he needs to lay off the tan and the fillers. I'm sure he's one of the youngest guys there, he's aged himself massively.

I really feel for Maeva, she seemed absolutely heartbroken and James had zero empathy for her. I suppose she did set herself up for a downfall... I think the whole world barring Maeva knew that he was going to say no. But he definitely could have dealt with it better. As for the preview, Jesus if he's kissed someone else after she completely bared her soul like that to him....she needs to walk away. I agree with another post... its seems like they have no real chemistry, Maeva and Miles definitely still care a lot about each other but I think it's gone to far now.... I also think he probably wouldn't feel like he can trust her. Emily and Miles would be lovely together but I hope they just remain friends, you can sense the love that they have for each other. It's sweet.

Talking fave cast mates.... always Freddie Mouse 🐭

I was watching MIC and my OH came into the room as Maeva/James were chatting in the bedroom - I quickly explained how Maeva had proposed but James had said no. My OH (a man) immedialty said James came across as a dick because all he seemed to care about were his feelings and how he felt humiliated. Which is 100% true. Where was his empathy for Maeva who put her heart on the line and got shot down because of James’ male ego?

Even Miles showed her more empathy when he said he knew how much she’d be hurting.

James is coming across more and more like a wet blanket. And that was before the cheating preview. It almost seems like he enjoys the idea that Miles has feelings for Maeva, and that’s why he tolerates all the drama. Like a silly little man-child, he likes the idea of a trophy girlfriend that a former rival of his covets. Except Miles broke up with Maeva and doesn’t want to be with her.

Verity just seems like the polar opposite of a girls girl, you know? You wouldn't even trust her with your worst enemy, she's so slimy.. same as Liv.

the look of pure glee on her face when Maeva addressed them all over the failed proposal.. was pure ugly. She was so hideous in that moment. No one can say that was edited to make her look bad or down to producers - that was pure nastiness and the real verity showing.

It was quite satisfying to see Tristan get rejected by Emma. I knew it was in his head all along, and it's obviously very likely that the producers asked her to ask him out for that cheeky coffee. Tristan, I'm sorry but you only got called for a scene so Emma could get her screen time in, it was never that deep after all. So put that in your blonde hair blue eyed pipe and smoke it.

It's just like what The Pharcyde said "I guess a twinkle in her eye is just a twinkle in her eye". Get a clue, men ;):ROFLMAO:

I listened to an ep of Spencer on Jamie’s pod once and they were saying Spencer was probably a sociopath or psycopath can’t remember which and like reading out the bullet definitions and each one Spencer was like yeah that fits. And they were having a laugh but I was Like tit how could anyone trust this guy??

I know this is probably an unpopular opinion but I think James and Maeva are completely acting. I thought this last season when James kissed someone when they were on a break and I can’t shake it while watching them discussing the proposal. Particularly James, it’s like he can’t keep a straight face at times. It’s either that or the producers have scripted it much more than we think, their acting skills need a little bit of work, IMO.

I totally agree. I think the whole thing has been drafted in for the show.
