Yet more awful photography by the E4 team. Reminds me of those Victorian death photos.

Tbh, I think Miles looks better than most of the rest of them in that pic. He's lost muscle mass and weight from all the dancing, and likely skipped his usual weight training routine while he was on DOI. Still a tw4t though; he hasn't lost that side of himself.
 
Miles and Tristan suddenly best mates again. But its for something or other and fake as duck. They are all so fickle and just proves how soulless and vain they all are, fall in and outnof relationship to be seen,or to be seen as something. They flew out to oz for a month. They were avoiding all the questions on the current climate after the killings. Did a live (topless of course. )

They were talking about laddish things. Grow the duck up. Not all blokes talk like this anyway, but at least they tend to grow out of it, when they pass the teenage years.

She literally was just a PR and poster girl for the brand. She did all the glitzy networking events and no doubt her appearance on MiC was a big profile booster. Gotta laugh at her choice of outfit in this Insta video, and weirdly buoyant tone. "I'll know what I'll wear to get this quite serious business update and emotional message across - a really short skirt and knee-high boots as I awkwardly stifle my laughter throughout."

Given the trajectory of many other vegan and veggie eateries, including vegan Pret, she can't be that surprised? It's a bit embarrassing for Clean Kitchen that they're resorting to betraying their plant-based ethos. I get they'll need to do it to save the business, but it lacks integrity somewhat and will probably lose them loads of regular customers. But hey, I guess it could end up attracting even more non-plant-based customers.

But plant based isn't vegan. That not its definition. Its plant forward (based) thinking and trying to make meals plant based but doesn't mean you don't eat meat and dairy.
It's another wellness bullshit term at the end of the day designed to sell and in most shame people or make other feel superior. You dont need tk tell anyone your are plant based eating. It's not an allergy.
And clean eating is the biggest read flag for not being any good apart from a hook to sell you something. And again another way for a few to shame or stand on their ego about "clean eatinf" which most of the time just becomes disordered eating.
But a plant based brand doesn't need to be vegan. It was a sell for them to use. It was a little manipulation tactic. And the clean kitchen name should be ypur first clue they are going to do thus.
So her leaving because they are adding meat is not their fault. But both sides aren't exactly honest or for the good of people who buy from them.

It's a massive minefield, all these different terms. Good point about making those distinctions. I also hate the term "clean eating". I thought it went out of vogue years ago, so was surprised they chose it for the business name.

I guess Verity should have been aware from the outset that the market is volatile and ever-changing. But hey, she's not a businessperson or entrepreneur, as much as she likes to make out that she is. I can now see her (God help us) setting up her own vegan eatery. I'm sure she now has enough connections to help her with the business side of things.

Has anyone ever eaten at Clean Kitchen? I poked my head in a couple of times and found the menu completely uninspiring. I'd much rather get a Sainsbury's meal deal for half the price. I can see why the business is struggling and will need to start branching out menu-wise.
 
The fact Clean Kitchen made this announcement insta story after they started selling meat and still haven't changed their info on the website or socials is pretty shocking.

I think they just got too big for their boots. Opening lots of locations, trying to develop products for supermarkets. It felt like it was all for show most of the time.

Miles took Tempura Prawn's side when he started dating Liv. Tristan was fumin' about the whole thing but kissed and made up with Tempura Prawn as soon as Liv chucked him.

I can't see Miles becoming legitimate friends with any of his foes. It's all superficial and just for the cameras. He's being weirdly chummy with Sam despite hating his guts for years. Just wait until Sam gets caught cheating.

James can’t understand that for some women sex isn’t jsut saying hi and oooo let’s get it on. It’s about what you do from the moment you wake up especially w a baby n marriage. Him talking about sex so often almost forcing these things on her is so off putting. He’s more worried about his man junk than realising he needs to help out some more. Getting a nanny so he can get some is so childish and carrying that conversation not only in front of strangers but to his brother is so awkward
