Sorry but Freddie is a bit of a loser. Sounds harsh, but he looks like a 14 year old and all that he or other cast members empathizes on is his family's background (because it seems like he hasn't got anything else going for him) I think James doesn't really care about being on the show anymore. He comes from money and actually has a proper job so he doesn't need it, so I think Maeva is the one who wants to stay on the show because she wants the fame, the followers and a sponsored instagram brand deal every now and then because that's all she has.
Spot on, I get the impression that Maeva also doesn’t have much of a social life outside of the show, bar her family maybe

I'd be keeping that "royal connection" private if I were him, considering what his relative Lord Mountbatten was accused of. Heinous stuff. I didn't think Maeva and James would be coming back. I remember Maeva wailing to Inga that she had no friends in England, thinking "isn't Inga meant to be your friend?"😂

Her only friend on the show is Ruby. Enough said.
I don’t think they’re even real friends outside of filming. I kind of feel bad for her. When James cheated and then was like “I have a ring” I remember Liv attempted to embarrass her by bringing it up in front of all the girls but it was clear Maeva had already forgiven him (possibly because she was already pregnant at the time). I remember feeling for her because it was clear James was all she had.

What I find funny is how they went from hating each other's guts one series to suddenly being all pally in the next, with zero explanation given as to why lol. I can't say I pity her much. She doesn't have a life of her own and seems to milk off of James. Without him and her Instagram paid posts, she literally has nothing (well obviously excluding her baby, which was made possible by James!)

I think this is why her and Miles also never worked out. He couldn't give her what she wanted which is a very good lifestyle and financial stability. Miles doesn't have money and he also doesn't come from real money.

Out of all women on the show she invited Ruby to her wedding 🙄
I thought she might also invite Sophie and Jamie, as she's previously said that the only cast mates she hangs out with off-screen are Sophie and Ruby. Also, was Paris not invited? Seems weird as I thought they were somewhat friendly. Also love how James invited Hugo after knowing him all of 5 minutes. I def think they were trying to fill empty seats due to Maeva's lack of guests.

Gotta be careful what you flaunt on social media, as it makes you a target for nut jobs.
Not related to his kidnapping ordeal, but this made me laugh. Sure mate😂

There's also a DM article about it and there are two details I find weird/disconcerting. Firstly, MIC bosses "weren't made aware of" the kidnapping at the time...Huh? Also, they knowingly sent the cast to film in the place with the highest murder rate in Europe?!!! As someone has commented, if only they captured this drama on camera. Now that would be worth a watch🥴

I had no idea Corsica was so dangerous. According to The Sun.
Also, of the two reasons given for his kidnap, saying something offensive was more likely than his long distance connection to King Charles.
Why on earth did they ferry them out to Corsica?! Not great duty of care... I'm not buying the whole "he said something offensive" thing. I'm more inclined to agree with the article comments re him more likely getting caught up in a dodgy drug deal.

Loads of others are calling b/s, saying it's a publicity stunt ahead of the new series. Nothing would surprise me anymore. Desperation ahoy.

I remember Emily and some other girls flew back to attend Tiff's wedding in the middle of filming somewhere exotic. They just filmed and left for a few days and came back again to the set picking it up. Didn't realize he had such an important role in Corsica then he couldn't even leave for a day?

Very good point! Also, considering the fact people much closer to the royals weren't even invited - why the hell would he be?😂I'm not really believing any of it at this stage. Why tell us nearly a year after it happened (coincidentally timed with the new series), and why would the producers not have been privy to the fact one of their cast mates was kidnapped?!?

Freddie strikes me as being something of a compulsive liar, which began from the moment he claimed he's "never been pied".
