I came across this article yesterday. It's basically some girl on TikTok spilling the beans about what it's like to be an MiC extra. She doesn't name any names but says how one of the female cast members acted like a stuck up b*tch (or words to that effect) on set, and how she was the only cast member who didn't say hi or acknowledge her. This was relatively recently and she says it's someone who had an on/off relationship with their partner. I highly doubt Liv would behave like that, so that only leaves Ruby as the culprit. Definitely sounds like it would be her.

I always assumed Miles was alluding to race related things/trauma or complexes that can develop in some environments because of the above. But if that is the case I don't feel bad for him. His treatment of Paris spoke volumes when she was first on the show. He was very nasty to her in one interaction and it was very telling but also not surprising. That is all I am going to say. It is a IYKYK situation.

Like I said, IYKYK. I know from lived experience how mixed raced men/black men who grow up in more white environments can be towards black and mixed raced women and then turn the switch and act another way (usually much nicer) towards other races of women. They usually have some deep rooted issues/complexes around race.
 
I’m really struggling to believe any of the couple storylines since Corsica.

I went through a phase of watching the old series from 7 and got through them quite quickly up until Series 17 which I think introduced Verity and Julius and it’s been a real chore to watch it since as they are nauseating. I’m now up to 22 where they’re all away and Liv and Tristan fall out with Emily because she said they were incompatible but Rez also gets accused of sending dodgy messages to Verity in the past. Anyway, Inga is supposedly sleeping with Miles but he says he doesn’t trust her and dumps her but there’s just no way I believe they were a thing, it all just looked so fake. My very long point is that I get the same feeling over Sam and Yas. It wouldn’t surprise me if Yas has always really been with Tristan.

Another thing was that in his defence Rez mentioned he also messaged his friend Bella so he must have known her way before she arrived on the scene and I never believed they were a couple either. Unless it’s a different Bella but I doubt it.

Maeva and James’ baby looks like a balding middle aged newsreader.

I haven't heard him talk about race-related issues, but a few months ago he told some sob story about his childhood living on a council estate for a few years, and how he felt like he didn't fit in with his castmates because of it. I don't remember that episode with Paris but nothing surprises me with that bloke.

I don't think Yaz and Sam are fake. They're just a vile pair of individuals whose mutual narcissism and love for the thrill of the chase has brought them together. They're also much closer in age than Sam was with Inga, so their massive levels of immaturity are another uniting theme. That said, I don't see it ending well for Yaz. He will end up screwing her over. Is there a single woman he hasn't cheated on in his dating life? Even off-screen, he cheated on Lottie Moss. In his earlier days on the show, he had a new girlfriend called Jemima and cheated on her with four different women in the space of a week. He's a scumbag who'll never change his nasty ways.

Bella is such a beg, am bored of her. Please MiC, stop trying to make her a thing!!

Yaz for me is just so bland and dull. If she were a meal deal she’d be the ham sandwich, ready salted crisps and water.
I just don’t see how any of the blokes fall seemingly head over heels for her when there’s the likes of Inga around. Everything she wears is dull, like my mum would turn her nose up at her clothes . I just don’t get the appeal.

Cannot WAIT for when (not if, WHEN) Sam and Yaz break up , they fully deserve to be miserable. As we all know, he will either cheat or it will turn toxic.

Inga has something about her and was able to call him out on him being insecure when she was out with friends and he was blowing up her phone, asking who she was with etc. I feel like Yaz doesn’t have the personality to deal with it and will crumble into a mess and they will eventually break up and it’ll be a big disaster (and great television).
