Maybe Stephanie needed a fake story line? Who knows.

I never understood why she joined the cast for her 'fake' move to London. There must have been a reason I forgot about.

There are plenty of people lining up to get on MIC. I agree she wasn't treated very well.

Found her to moan quite often, surely she could have received work back in Los Angeles.

SO my other inquiry, did Stephanie really have a genuine friendship with Lucy?
I think she probably got on as a favor because Spencer and Hugo mentioned that they were both friendly with Spencer Pratt when he and Brody Jenner were plotting and messing things up on The Hills with their producing antics. Spencer and Hugo saw that and wanted to do a similar sort of show/drama hence MIC.

I don't think she would have found much work. I am in North America so I remember how big Laguna Beach and The Hills/The City were. Stephanie was old news by the time she popped up on MIC with her Madonna esque British accent. Most of the cast from The Hills besides LC was falling into irrelevancy during that time period.

I think Stephanie and Lucy kept it cordial. Lucy seemed very empathetic when Stephanie posted about how the producers and Josh did her really dirty during the break up scene. Apparently Stephanie had no idea the break up was coming and said she had been all lovey dovey with him that same morning or something. Other cast like Louise also commented on the post that they had horror stories to share about how horrible production was.

Stephanie seems very self involved though so I can see why Lucy probably doesn't vibe with that. The one person she actually seems to be close with from the cast is Alex Mytton's ex Nicola Hughes.

I feel so bad for Stephanie Pratt. Ever since she first popped up on The Hills, you could tell she was a lost little puppy. Obviously came from money, but troubled nevertheless. I think Lucy wanted to marry Dunmore as soon as she laid eyes on him, and did not want drama with Steph to get in the way of that. So she quickly dumped her as a bestie! Lucy was always very cold and calculating, Steph was always very naive, and Tiffany just seems genuinely scared of Lucy. 💀

I hope Rosie is ok... she looks painfully thin! 😟

They all did Steph dirty. I don’t think she was lying about Lucy & James having some issues, it simply wouldn’t make sense…it’s not like she would benefit from it. Lucy always wanted to be in control so I guess the lost it when Steph tried to mess that up. I remember her saying that she thought Mytton was fit and all hell broke lose! The worst one in that situation was Louise. There is absolutely nothing wrong with saying that someone is fit. And for Louise out of all people to have a go at her and exclude is a bit rich. Louise cheated on Andy and Alik.

Career wise Steph tried to make into fashion, she was at School (college/uni whatever it was)with Lauren and worked with her for a very short period until getting sacked. Saying that though this was all on The Hills so probably fake
Lauren admitted they were never students at FIDM, which makes me laugh because of the amount of scenes they filmed on site with them both "studying" in class😅Does that mean all the other students were fake too? 😂I'll never get over the hilarity of Steph being asked at that fashion PR agency interview what she wanted to do for career-wise and she replied "handbags. I'd love to have my own handbag line", then her getting fired after turning up late to a fashion shoot.

They were HORRIBLE to her. Complete bunch of gaslighters. I agree - I think Lucy lied her face off about her and James having arguments. Steph would have nothing to gain from lying about it. Lucy just didn't like the fact Steph was too honest and divulged details of their private life in front of the cameras. The only people who stayed decent towards Steph were Tiffany and Ollie. She reminds me of Inga slightly; people on that show don't like being rightfully called out on things, or women who are happy to stand their ground.

The Alex Mytton thing was bizarre. He broke up with his ex briefly, then Steph said he was fit. Lucy went rabid on her and started telling everyone that Steph was after him once he got back with his ex.

Oh I was guna say Digby but 100% yes to James Dunmore, he is one sexy bastard!

Love the levels of petty in Ruby’s post, but let’s be real as if the mother is going to be happy her kid is with the absolute skank that is Jem Lucy 🤮

I felt really sorry for Inga on her stories, she’s handled it all with such dignity, she’s a queen, also she seems to have a good friend in Izzy❤
i really do wish her tostay away from the show, and that crowd. she was bought in(ironically like issy) as Miles lockdown duck.
she looks so much calmer and more genuinely content away from it.
every time she is herded back in its like shes some vulnerable play thing to them. then they will drop, use, poke or reject her on a whim.
and liv only uses her when everyone else has gotten fed up of her tit.
got to admit her and issy create good photos. those bali shots, wow.

how is Miles trying to be this bloody big balls of a podcast studio. hes literally put his name to it and has hired everyone esle to do the hard work for him. and has found a way of making people spend more by hiring out a space for podcasts.
" our productions, we are moving to our Hq studio, for our clients. we will sit down with you and help you with your stategy and sm, ulitmetly thats how you grow organically." haha
"tagged a food company because we go there all the time. they contacted saying they would like to work with us" work with you !!!! arrgh. you mean they gift you your food you bell end. and you get away with it by this swapsie of the instacunt land by being nothing but an ad for them. work.ugh.
oh and then,another golf day.
oh and then going to the gym whilst the cleaner comes in "they clean miles hiuse, rubys house and are coming to do mine on a sunday" oh temps where did you go.

I think the Steph/Lucy storyline got twisted a lot in Lucy’s favour.

lucy definitely seemed like a controlling, jealous friend. When Steph was in her honeymoon period with Josh and things were moving quickly didnt she get really upset as Lucy was often rude, refused to speak about him, turned up late when he was there. Josh said on the show “she’s a jealous person who can’t be happy and isn’t a friend to you” which seemed like it went deeper than what was shown on the show.
It really resonated with me as I had a “bestie” who when I got a bf and things were going well would do the same thing. Nothing you could quite call them out on as it wasn’t obvious, but just wouldn’t acknowledge the relationship, being abrupt/rude, not being friendly to my bfc changing the subject when I was with friends asking about my relationship. It was exhausting and made me so anxious and I can imagine Lucy is the kind of person who would do that easily.

the “fancying Mytton” storyline was bizarre. She just said he’s hot then suddenly it was twisted to Steph’s a predator who wants to steal him. And the girls were purposely setting her up asking questions like “would you date him if he was single”.

I think Steph probably retaliated (badly) on TV saying some truths about Lucy’s relationship then got cut out.

Is this a new podcast by Miles, or are they doing a "rebrand" too?

You've hit the nail on the head about Inga and Liv's friendship. Liv totally uses her at her convenience, which Inga has said herself in the past. I found it a bit messed up when Liv posted all those cringe "female empowerment" photos with Inga after both their break-ups, then about a week later she's posting pictures of herself draped over Sam's lap with her boobs in his face, making cryptic comments in reference to them two hooking up. And let's not forget she hooked up with Sam five minutes after his and Inga's first break up. Who needs enemies when you have friends like Liv and Yasmine?

Anyone know what’s going on with Yaz and Prince? And any truth to the rumours he was a creep/perv in school?
They're hanging out a lot and talking crap about Inga on other people's IG Lives, like a pair of juvenile morons. Sam's been very vague and ambiguous about his recent dating life, but I'm assuming those two are seeing each other.

Someone on here said they went to Sam's school and was either affected by his behaviour, or knew someone who was. It wouldn't shock me if it's true.

I'll have to go digging, not that it matters, regarding a video of Kelly Cutrone calling out The Hills and The City as FAKE., FAKE, FAKE :D

She was talking about how nothing on reality tv is real, absolutely nothing. (we all know this)

So all these people doing Podcasts or Reaction videos (I'm talking to you Whitney Port & friends), regarding these silly shows, are discussing FAUX events that have zero credibility to them.

I mean I can't remember the last time I turned up for a 'Call Time' (reality tv show) & then proceeded to pretend it was real life. Or having to do a 'Retake', or show up at 6am for a 'Club Scene'

It's wild - basically Kelly and Steph arguing with each other about whether Steph and the other girls were legitimately interns/employees at People's Rev. Steph's angry at Kelly for sh!tting on her dreams of being a handbag designer, and says she made her drop out fashion school because she was so nasty to her. She insists she was a legitimate intern despite the fact she wasn't being paid. Kelly says the show was completely false, and goes "I had no idea that you thought any of that was real."

Kelly says: "You were never an employee of mine...No self-respecting PR company owner would hire anyone whose goal it is to be a handbag designer. You also said you spoke fluent French. I started speaking to you in French and you didn't understand."

It explodes into a furious row with Steph saying she wants to hang up, and asking Kelly for an apology. Kelly refuses then bows out and leaves the convo. Had no idea Kelly had such a huge impact on Steph. Yikes!

Hm that’s awkward…
I remember listening to a podcast Kelly did with Whitney she said they set up a birthday party for her, it wasn’t her actual birthday. However they encouraged her to say to a cast member they looked anorexic and she was worried. Before leaving the party and whilst drunk a producer said she needed to film it before she could leave.
I did feel bad for Steph with the whole Mytton situation. All the girls turned on her even Tiff which, led Steph to mention Tiff had cheated on Sam.

I don't know why Kelly would rat on Whitney and say she was never an employee of hers as they grew to be good friends, and she was supposedly a mentor of hers?! Fair enough throwing the other girls under the bus as they meant nothing to her, but that seems quite harsh given that Whitney built up a really successful career in the fashion industry. I don't doubt Lisa have her a massive foot on the career ladder, especially with all her industry contacts.

I didn't realise the show's producers made her say that Ali girl looked anorexic. That was awful. Yeah, that Mytton think completely snowballed, ridiculous. I was thinking earlier about Steph making Tiff confess to her cheating. I thought she was massively put of order for it, but now it makes sense knowing it came after they all hounded Steph and made her out to be a huge man-eater.

Whitney is married to a producer of The City she asked him on the YouTube rewatch show why the show had ended and he said it was too expensive to film it. A lot of the cast from The Hills have said it was so fake, Kristin said she never dated Justin it was for a storyline so she would have drama with Audrina. Producers would set them both up to have an argument on camera, and again would not let them leave until it happened.I do wonder how producers manipulate the cast, I think some cast members just see as job and just turn up and stir the pot and others take it to heart more.Maybe Steph was easier to manipulate more, I feel bad her if she didn’t know Josh was breaking up with her on camera.

Wow^ thanks for that, the one I listened to was different.

I'll go looking for it.

It was the same type of convo with Kelly stating that there is no truth to any of their tv shows.
