I remember her saying she doesn't like people asking nosey and banal questions. I do wonder if some of her attitude is down to her Frenchness. I speak as someone who has a very direct French in-law who has zero filter or sense of fucks given. Obviously I'm not excusing Meava's stinking sense of entitlement, which plays into it too.
I was going to say something a while back about her being French, but changed my mind. I fully believe much of the way she comes across
(is the culture) also not excusing what she says & the behaviour.
Maeva is direct, so when things are said, it does come off as curt and rude, her delivery of what is mentioned can be 'off putting'
It's tough to explain unless you've lived in France and understand their 'abruptness'
(still think she can soften her 'blows' so to speak) as she should try and adapt to the place she is in, so her interactions are 'received' in a way people understand, who are not French.
I've studied the language and culture extensively. Still doesn't excuse her actions or attitude. She isn't pleasant a lot of times.
French people love to debate, If you live in France for a while, you'll start to notice a pattern with
No to many questions. Even if the answer is Yes, they may give you a
No answer. Often times this is how they get a conversation started, and what others may see as unappealing behaviour, the French see it as engaging in whatever is being discussed.
It's kind of like saying 'Bonjour' any and everywhere. It's considered rude to not use this greeting in all aspects of life; when you walk into a store, use transit, or sit down at a restaurant for a meal, you always greet the other person with 'Bonjour'. Some of the time you may even be ignored until you greet the other person, it's that
imperative to use when interacting with friends and strangers alike.
Apologies for the long winded post.

apologies if this has been covered before - what happened with Alex and Jamie doing private parts together? I feel like he suddenly disappeared
Maybe Jamie's podcast with
CoSo (Cocaine Sophie) is more popular?
