I remember watching neighbours years and years ago when I was a young teenager and one of the lassies, Dani, was in an abusive relationship, really gaslighting emotional abuse before it turned physical and I remember being on my high horse and 100 percent believing I would be out of there and dumping his arse like a shot.

I left as soon as I found out about cheating (on his part)…it’s hard 1 though as i left a relationship which had no kids involved…now my kids are involved I would like to think I would leave…but as we say who knows when your actually in that situation…

edit…not saying I found it easy with no kids involved to leave…I think I just mentally couldn’t take it…in no way a diss to anyone that stays where there’s no kids involved…everyone’s situations are completely different…

But life as we know is not that simple, so in theory I’d leave , but in real life who knows what barriers we experience that may prevent us from leaving.
 
Addiction for me is one I couldn't stay as it could come in many forms and I don't want to deal with that.

As I've got older, I generally just think I'm a very selfish person. I concentrate on myself mostly I don't really want to deal with problems at home.

Friends and family is different.

I just want an easy life, I swear one day when I've had enough of working. I ll just up and leave and go somewhere hot. Sorry for the babble am still thinking it's morning 🤣

And I meant to answer to you but I've done that a few times, fallen asleep at odd times then wake up thinking fuckkkkkkk the kids will be late for school or fuckkkkkkk I've forgotten to pick them up 🙈
