Yeah that comment about Kaz and Liberty being friends pre love island is 100% false. They’ve also mentioned it countless times on their stories that they didn’t know each other prior to going into the villa.

Yes - still close now & holiday together. Kaz from Essex, lived in Birmingham for 3 years while at same City Uni partying at same places as Liberty, who also worked in Nandos for 6 years. Aaron Francis also at Uni in Birmingham at the same time. Birmingham nightlife social scene isn’t that big, like all the Newcastle past islanders knew each other/ connected. Amber Gill was ex best friend with Ellie Brown ( S4) who grew up with Harley Brash (S5) like sisters as their Mums are best friends. Amber & Harley had to pretend on the show they’d never met before despite photos together.

Molly Mae & Tommy Fury’s paths probably crossed before the show/ seen each other out, as both the same age 19, both living in Manchester & going out in the same places. Tommy semi famous due to his brother, as an influencer she’ll be aware of who’s who out. Both signed to Manchester influencer agencies before the show.

I wouldn’t say the Birmingham social scene is that small, it’s a pretty big city. It’s unlikely they came across each other.

Influencers don’t always tell the truth to their fans & having to deny it multiple times as it’s so suspicious. I have friends in Birmingham who know they had met before the show, so I believe them. Anyhow no big deal as other islanders had links in past, let’s move on to the new L8 cast as this thread is all about them.

Predict Tash to be the Islander picked to do Dancing on Ice, as she is a dancer & deaf so similar to Rose winning Strictly.

It's going to be much better with the viewers getting to pick the couples. Main reasons being......

1) Viewing figures should be higher from viewers getting to watch couples they had a hand in picking.

2) Viewers know bits about every contestant so have a better idea of who will suit who best rather than the contestants standing there like a piece of meat waiting to be picked just on looks.
