Obvious Luca isn’t a fishmonger with him dating you tubers/ influencers, he is just a wannabe influencers/ model desperate for fame. His family running a successful fish business is the same as Joe from season 5 wealthy family had a catering business so labelled him Sandwich boy for him to look more normal. In reality just a rich kid who wanted to be influencer from Orpington /Chislehurst, who didn’t work just partied & still lives at his family’s mansion with a pool. Obvious Luca cleared his Instagram history with only 6 photos beforehand- FOMO model agency are in his comments saying you’ve got this. All fake.

Love island do this every year with job titles. Liberty was a savy student doing a Advertising & Pr degree at Birmingham Uni & already signed to influencer Neon agency before the show . But they called her a Waitress ( her part time job) to look more innocent girl next door. She went to the same Uni as Kaz & friends before the show, not the instant connection on the show. Indiyah has Model on her Instagram tag not just a Hotel waitress. Amber with her partying in Cannes & Dubai in ultra expensive places is more than a Nanny.

Yes - still close now & holiday together. Kaz from Essex, lived in Birmingham for 3 years while at same City Uni partying at same places as Liberty, who also worked in Nandos for 6 years. Aaron Francis also at Uni in Birmingham at the same time. Birmingham nightlife social scene isn’t that big, like all the Newcastle past islanders knew each other/ connected. Amber Gill was ex best friend with Ellie Brown ( S4) who grew up with Harley Brash (S5) like sisters as their Mums are best friends. Amber & Harley had to pretend on the show they’d never met before despite photos together.

Molly Mae & Tommy Fury’s paths probably crossed before the show/ seen each other out, as both the same age 19, both living in Manchester & going out in the same places. Tommy semi famous due to his brother, as an influencer she’ll be aware of who’s who out. Both signed to Manchester influencer agencies before the show.

I don’t know how far in advance they clear their socials or know that they’re going on the show but Luca cleared his end of last year - he was with a girl called Soph Floyd whose a youtube/instagrammer and it cleared pretty early on cos he was apparently with Saffron Barker too that was discussed on her thread at the beginning of this year!

Yeah I saw that , it it is probably true that he was in Dubai but I just felt sorry for that woman lol.

I know I don't see the appeal in Dubai either if people want to go because they actually enjoy it and its their thing who am i to judge however the majority of them just go because they think it makes them look rich and to show off on socials

They’re both as scummy as each other. Saff knew Luca through his ex Sophie as she was good friends with her for years, then had the audacity to date Luca not long after his 5/6 year relationship with Sophie ended. Hope he goes out early, especially as it’ll probably be difficult for Sophie to see her fame hungry ex downplay their relationship.

Well if they ever made an older peoples version I would put forward my friend’s Nan, aged 74, slim, welll dressed, funny, always taking trips with her mates. Only being slightly facetious, 74 is probably a bit of a stretch …. Anything but these plastic people they somehow manage to find every year.

They ought to do a mix up of all the reality programmes if you ask me. I'd love to see Calum Best getting it on with White Dee from Benefits Street in the love island villa. :ROFLMAO:

Totally Agree.

Producers start looking for new islanders as soon as last season ends & have some names they looked at before. Most previous islanders were scouted on Instagram in Jan before their season started, know they going in by April if OG or early bombshell. He probably knew he had a chance by end of last year if his sister runs a influencer agency ( & told to clear his Instagram history then ).

From the other Tattle threads - Luca was dating Sophie Flloyd for at least 5 years. Broke up suddenly accounced in mid November - he cheated/ very disrespectful to her. Saffron split with Tyler Dixon in October & announced it January after living together a year. Saffron & Sophie were good friends from school in Brighton, unfollowed each in October. Luca was openly dating Saffron by end of January posting photos in bed & in Dubai together before their splits. It’s very fishy Saffron is so openly supporting Luca on Instagram, most likely still together with him just doing Love Island to get IG followers & make him famous as well. Saffron is well connected with TV producers with her stints on Strictly & other ITV shows, he clearly is a set up by LI producers. Agree hope he & Gemma Owen are off quickly like Sophie on S6 & Lucinda last series, give others without any famous connections a chance.
