I’m excited for it to start, but I must say I think it lost its spark from when it first started. I preferred it when the contestants were a bit more real and didn’t know how big the show would be. Situations also didn’t feel so forced and contrived like they do in later series. I sometimes feel like it is like watching a bad TOWIE scene.
But I get addicted all the same and can’t help watching even if the people do become samey and predictable, more worried about their teeth whitening endorsements.

I have put up with soooooo much football and Formula 1 to use as leverage for taking over the tv every night at 9pm for the next several weeks..
although the other half will 100% be invested within a few days as happens every time

I’m really gonna try to watch it tonight but il be putting the baby down to sleep around 8:30 so no doubt he’s gonna be a nightmare to settle

My boyfriend doesn't even like Love Island and refuses to watch it with me. I think dumping him is the only reasonable solution tbh

Had to tell my mum off for buying a small bag of popcorn from Lidl for tonight's love island. I said it's only love island ffs, not a big movie night.

She's going to be slagging off all the girls like nothing though. Every year it's "Look how big her legs are", "Look how how old she looks" and I have to tell her to stop it.
