I just watched it and totally zoned out. What was the “challenge” part? Did someone win immunity or something? Or do they get a “prize” later. Totally agree they need to stir things up but they’re too scared. To me LI is dead in the water as the producers are too scared to stir ANY drama

Agree! We’re not watching it for how hot they all are lol. It gets boring after the first challenge. I wait til the episodes have recorded and just skip the challenges now! Waste of time IMO
 
sorry if this has been said before, have just joined thread.. but in recent series (especially this one) why do they ONLY encourage/air fake set up conversations (can I pull you for a chat?) clearly not happening organically and not the normal, more entertaining natural conversations of earlier seasons? its so dry, fake and repetitive to the point of being unwatchable. Its not how people would normally act - who would walk into a group of people talking and say 'can I grab you and talk to you over there?!' when theyre around each other all day? the way they awkwardly walk to whatever spot the producers have told them too The unseen bits are so much more watchable and you can actually see people's personalities and relationships develop. I mean if youre going to make it totally scripted at least go full throttle and make it over the top. rant over... 🙄

Agree I don't know why they don't just say what they do at the beginning of Towie i.e.... The people are real... but everything they say has been made up by the production team.
 
Rachel posted on her story that none of the islanders in there currently like black girls and that’s heartbreaking imagine what that can do to your self esteem ahd I think the producers do it on purpose constantly putting it blondes and putting in boys who openly say that their type is the typical “petite blonde” do better Love Island this has happened since 2018

They had really fun challenges as well like the one where they had to sniff the boys clothes and identify the one they liked the most, and when the girls had to try and take off the others socks. Just actually decent to watch rather than “which islander can be a sexy cat/policewoman/insert any applicable term here”

Absolutely, the girls are more interested in having fun rather than being sexy.
